well there are a lot of consultants and they can have their own websites. i think the home site is www.scentsy.net. was that the site you saw?

really? i can't get away from them. I subscribe to the google updates and one of the keywords i use is wickless. so everything wickless get sent to my email and i get a lot of wahm that are consultants for scentsy. it is obviously a MLM but i wondered if anyone has actually tried them. I only see consultants talk about them not any actual customers.

my experience has been that the scent is 'eaten' up faster? i have used more than 1 oz to an already used wickless candle and it did not do much? JMHO. I see people sell fo oz along with their wickless collection but i really dont' think it does much.

Try and see what is around your city. I found a company here that sells paper and plastic supplies that have the portion cups and they are much cheaper and no shipping!

1. My wholesale area is not working, never has been. I have stuff written in there but it does not show.
2. How come when you go to my site it ends in /store/. There are other HCM stores that do not do that. How can I take that off?

I switched from HCM to DIY about 6 weeks ago. I think its a much easier setup. I agree - moving everything SUCKS big time but I now have the piece of mind that if I need help - I will get it
OMG, i remember helping you add stuff to your HCM site. is it really that much better? What do you feel is better than HCM?

you are right. i don't know why i am being so passive. I just don't want it to turn into a fight and then i get screwed becuase there is not much i can do but move....crap....
any sugesstions if i were to move. I have always wanted to try the DIYstores.

Does the .com/store part make it harder for google to index you or to move up in ranking? I had a .com/something (I don't remember what) and I could never seem to rise past page 3-5 in google. Changed hosts and had .com and now I sit higher. Don't know if that helped or it was just a coincidence tho.
EXACTLY!! I took an e commerce class with the Ecommerce diva and that is what she thinks too! I can never get past the 2nd page....which is not bad i guess but i would like to try for the 1st, you know. Is that something the only HCM can do. I hate to bother them right now with all that is going on. I am glad you understand what i am talking about Traci.

Does anyone who uses HCM know why some stores end in .com and some in .com/store/. I would like to get rid of the /store/. I don't want to bother Frank and Sharon with it....

I have just shipped my first wholesale order!! To alaska no less. There was a lady that was trying to start a sampler box and i sent in my stuff but i guess no one else did and it didn't work out so she just paid for my products and that was that. Well then i got an email from her asking about wholesale and i get a lot of those but no one had come thru yet but she did!! 96 Jumbo melts!! I spent all weekend on it and it is ready to go! I am so excited. She is opening a kioski (SP?) in a mall and wants my stuff!

Bumping an old thread - I'm considering an overhaul of my site, and wondering if anyone can share a site they've used HCM for. Also, my domain name is hosted through my DSL provider. I'm not changing that, am I? (Sorry if that's a silly question, I'm a bit challenged when it comes to website stuff!)
I use them too. You do not need to change who your domain is hosted through but you will need to just point it to the HCM host. not sure if that is what you call it but i got my name thru DIYdomainnames and i just had to tell them that i was using HCM.

here it is. when you got to their site you should sign up for the newsletter becuase you get all kinds of free offers in your email. you will get a lot of emails but it will be worth it when you need something.
the small ones are free and the larger ones are half off.

I finally checked with my insurance and they said no that it does not void my condo insurance the fact that I run a candles business from my home.
Thank God! So check with your guys insurance company to make sure. I kept putting this off becuase i was afraid of the answer. But i will sleep much better now.
