  1. yeah, if you would have asked me that same question last year i would have said the same thing. Actually i think there is a post on here where i said i thought it was pretty useless too.

But i think it is much better this year. No, there is nothing to help crafters directly as far as tip on to make candles and b and b like craftserver but it is more of a networking site to help you promote your business no matter what you sell.

I have to say it is much better then last year. I only joined for the insurance too. Now don't get me wrong, if it wasn't for the insurance i still would not pay to join, most of it is just info for your business all in one place.

She has a lost of guest on her show, she has started a home shopping network type of show where you can buy and chat at the same time, it was fun and i won a gift one time. Lots of advise and networking.

  2. Sherl,

can you shrink wrap them like in a six pack? three by two?

i don't see any pictures on your website?

do you have any pictures of your melts?

i went to the site last night and emailed them about making a tarts video and he emailed me the next morning and gave me lots of information. i would love to buy one but don't think i am there yet.

  3. I have a shrink wrap system I can wrap 25 tarts in less than 2 minutes. I used to have 4" tubing and an impulse sealer but got real tired of cutting and sealing. This is where I got mine from:

If you have to package many tarts at all.. this system will save you lots of time.. and I make really nice gift baskets with a different poly.

wow that is sooo cool. what a great website that showed exactly how it works. i have always wondered. I am not ready to make that investment yet but i have always wanted to seal them individually like yankee does but did not have the time for sure. that is great, thanks sheri.

  4. do you have a smaller pouring pot? that helps me when i did clamshells. as far getting the wax off i just wiped it off. you might have to wipe a few times with a clean paper towel but it always came off eventually.

  5. C&D means cease and desist. They can send you a letter telling you to stop using the word "tart".

They trademarked a lot of stuff that you would not think they could like

    Autumn Wreath

    autumn leaves

    Buttercream

    clean cotton

    evening air

    home sweet home

    midsummers nights

    mistletoe

    mountain lake

    silverbell

    sweet honeysuckle

    vineyard

    wedding day

    rain forest

    they suck...lol

  6. Do you guys sell your fo's as refresher oils? I have had people ask me about just buying the oils and I thought that would be a great idea for the plug in warmers I have but will they start pouring it in the wickless jars too? I tried that and I personally didn't think it gave it much scent.

I bet they could use it for the bowl in my combo warmers too but will they have to put in a certain amount or will it smoke? I will try it out one day but just asking my fellow wickless chandlers what they think. :)
