  1. Hi ladies:

Looked on Bramble's website and didn't find any info for B&B. I did read that you could use 1/2 oz per lb of soap- is that also true for their essential oil blends? I would be mixing an EO blend in with shea butter. I know it's different for each EO - so I would be using the bug be gone blend.

    Thanks in Advance.

  2. hi Ladies:

I have been testing a few new products and am looking for the right containers/tops. I have a facial oil that I am working with and I need advice on what pump top that I could use that would dispense about 1-2 teaspoons of product (less is better.) I have no idea how to measure or gauge how much a pump dipsenses so I am looking to you ladies for help. I would be packaging the product in 2 oz bottles, so it would be a small amount.

Thank you so much, as always, for your help.

  3. Hi all,

I have some glitter from Aromahaven and want to make a 2 oz glitter stick. I have no idea of how much glitter to add, not even a ballpark estimate. Does anyone have any idea of approx. how much glitter (not mica) to add to have the glitter transfer to the skin? Bascially I want to add the glitter to a lotion bar recipe.

    Thanks so much!

  4. Now, I am not complaining about this at all - I thought it was kinda funny. I make lotion bars in various shapes and sell them with or w/out tins. Well, I had some of those two oz tubes from elements bath and body and decided to use them as samples - people could rub them on themselves or rub their fingers across the top. These were a bunch of my friends, so it wasn't a big deal. Do you know they bought all the samples???? They wanted the tubes rather than the tins. I laugh because before I left for the show, I showed hubby the tubes and he said, you should just sell them like that.

  5. Hi ladies:

Trying to get a black color soap (drakkar scent) for DH. Tried it and get a grainy-gray look to the soap, if you know what I mean. Any tips for use of this clay in melt and pour?

I used about 2 tsp per lb. of soap. I mixed it in a bit of soap first, then added it to the whole mix, Since I add 1 tsp castor oil, perhaps I should try mixing it with a bit of soap and the castor oil?

    Thanks in advance for help!

  6. Hi Ladies:

I purchased the Milky Way Soap stamp that says 'handmade" but when I received it in the mail, it did not work. Basically the stamp is a female stamp, i.e. the letters are recessed rather than standing out like an ink stamp would, kwim? I thought that soap stamps were raised letters or designs on hard resin (or whatever they use). Or do I have a defective stamp?

to explain further, it would make a great stamp for raised letters on playdough, but does nothing on my soap. Does anyone have a Milky Way Soap stamp?

  7. Yes, I got them on the recommendation of the lovely folks on this board and have been quite pleased with the results. They even sent a set of droppers so measuring is a snap! Highly recommended. I use it in my melt and pour soaps.
