  1. Am I the only one having some trouble with these. THey aren't lasting as long as they used to. First I thought it may have been the fo because of the reformulations lately but that wasn't it.

I went to my local walmart and read the bag and I don't recall the exact words but on the bag it was saying how it is used to absorb odor and not release it. I figured that was the problem with mine no longer being as strong.....

  2. Lick Me All Over***** a long time good seller, over all a lighter scent but very nice. to me better in b&b than candles

    Butt Naked ****same as above.

    Green Amber

    Black Linen & Amber

Agave Lime **** personally for me, there are better limes out there.

Frosted Lime Cupcake***** I love this! and I am not a foodie scent type person! Have not really added it to the line yet so can't comment of selling but many have success with it

Bamboo & White Grapefruit ***eh take it or leave it for me. not something I will be adding any time soon

    Euphoria

    Seaside Cotton

    Mermaid Kisses

    Napa Valley Harvest

  3. What a good idea!!!! I hadn't thought about making 1# batches to use up some of my 1 ozer's. I've got a ton of them too but normally mix them with another fo to get a custom blend. I'll have to try the soap. Would the plastic velveeta cheese boxes work as a mold for these?

I am not sure what velveeta box you speak of but that is the beauty of soaping ...so many more everyday house hold items can be suitable for molds than with candles...

Just line it and try it! Check the demensions to make sure you will be able to make the size bar you want or you may end up with some odd size bars or extra soap chunks or slivers.

gl and let us know how you make out! :yay:

  4. I am glad to hear you are ok! Soaping can be dangerous in more ways than one , eh!:shocked2:

I will add this too, don't ever soap in sandals/flip flops/ open toe shoes. I did once (probably more than once, but only once with a problem) and spilled raw soap on my toes! Now I wear my old tennis shoes or shoe like slippers...no exceptions!

  5. The Scent Works WHite Willow & Green Tea....anyone know if it is the same as Backwoods White Willow & Green Tea?

Backwoods doesn't have it any more and I really liked it.

It is so expensive though at TSW and that is a big chunk o change for a miss.

Anyone have it even if can't compare it to BW? How do you like it?

  6. burberry sat in the mold for 2 days and was still really soft. My fault though. Good thing it was for personal use anyway.

I found if I put the soap in the corner of my ahnoki mold I use the knife and cut holes and I got a straight perfect cut! woohoo. fast and easy.

Julie and Nancy, 2 bars are for an order of the Asain Sandalwood, but that means 2 bars are not spoken for. Send addresses and maybe in 4-6 weeks you might get a suprise! lol

Nancy- the Asain Sandalwood was Peaks. It was what I had on hand but I hear there are other really good sandalwoods out there.

    the vanilla got pretty dark

  7. I think I will make a candle with it. Kinda saved it for soap. Although...I could order more. lol

I wanted to make a candle with it to test but thought I couldn't get more. If I get answers as to how I can order more I will do a candle for testing too.

the strongest note I smell is a red mac apple....Kimberly and I would debate this every time we made it or talked about it. Is my nose broken or do you all smell the red mac apple in it? You gotta get past the muskyness and there is apple, clear as day to me.

  8. I love the shade of Plum the purple turned into, really pretty!:smiley2:

the colors are the "all eyes on Ria" set from TKB

loved it and had to have it. Just now put it in soap. Next is eye shadow.

  9. expiration date one year, for lotions, for me. Anything with water, even though it is preserved, I don't care, one year max. I'm not getting sued because someone uses an old lotion and gets cellulitis or some other hard to diagnose or cure infection of any kind.

In our business it is CYOA(B) Cover Your Own A$$ (Bum)

better to be safe than sorry, especially when it comes to consumer health.

I saw someone at work had a lipbalm (left on the desk) from 1997!!!!!!!!! Holy MOLY, I can just imagine the nasties they are putting on thier lips!!!
