  1. but one of my customers told me that hydrogen peroxide (like you put on a cut) works wonders to get stains out of carpet. But not too sure how that would work on a blue carpet, maybe you could test it in a out-of-the-way location
  2. Made a mistake. Must be all the drugs I am on (Very nasty cold) I was closely watching how much I poured (insert, obviously not watching close enough) and too much went in the candle, and I only have about 1/8th of an inch in the bottom of my boiler. I was like CRAP!!!!! But too late now. I will just top this one off the way I used to and make sure I don't make the same mistake next time. I should be one with the wax, but now I am one with the benadhryl, motrin and Tylonel
  3. I have it poured. It is a pillar. I used Peak Cornucopia and used the Rust die chip. This went too fast! Now I am going to have to make another one tomorrow. But I should probably hold back my excitement until I see how this one turns out! Dh's contribution to the candle is WOW that smells good!!!! Let's hope it is as pretty as it smells!
  4. DH and I are about to create a candle! I already have the mold done, wick in and I am double checking the instructions so I don't screw everything up! once again WISH ME LUCK:D
  5. But can you mix different FOs? Like cranberry and cinnamon? I am sure this is a stupid question, but I am starting over 6 or 7 years since my last. But I will let you in on a secret... I think I am going to make my first candle today!
  6. VERY ADORABLE!!!! I love your graphic! You all never fail to inspire
  7. was before I even looked at the pictures. I am yelling at my husband at 10:45 p.m. YOU HAVE GOT TO SEE THIS THEY ARE INCREDIBLE Oh my gosh...you all are an incredibly talented bunch!
  8. all of you?!?!?!? It is incredible how all of you make lotions, bath bombs etc.... I am just in awe of all of you. Maybe one day I can dabble in your world But untili then... here is my round of applause
  9. REALLY COOL!!!! Also, I looked about for "dipping" and didn't figure out how that would get that look
  10. http://www.zgallerie.com/shop/viewmult.asp?sku=ghma007406&searchfor=Accessories&cat=HMA&Listabsolutepage=111 I may have broken the rules for posting this. If I have, I am sorry. But... how do you get this look on a candle? I think it is BEAUTIFUL:smiley2:
  11. AND Is there a different mold? Still confused:shocked2:
  12. Prairieannie??? edited because I cannot spell!!!
  13. I have a new fragrance . Lilac ( peak candle supplies). Any takers??? First come, first serve! He told me that I should post this scent too. He is none too fond. ( he makes the candles with me)
  14. Luvcandletarts It's YOURS!!!!!!!! :yay: :yay:
  15. that I don't care for. I got it with my starter kit from Peak Candle Supplies. I would be happy to mail it out to someone here if they want it (FREE). It is the Strawberry-Kiwi. It is just too girly, sugar, sweet smell. I don't even want to make candles out of it, it gives me a headache. But we live in a wonderful world, where everyone likes different things! How boring would the world be if we all liked the same stuff?? So in that spirit..... Goes to the first taker. It may take me a week or two to get to the post office but I promise I will get it to you. Let me know!
  16. coffee beans in candles? I did when I made them several years ago. This is what I ment when I said "when did candle making become so difficult" I am SO CONFUSED By the way... Your beans look great!
  17. But why do you need to make them instead of purchasing a large bag of real coffee beans? I am still new and learning.
  18. Where did you get it? What color did you use? I LOVE THAT and I wanna copy Hopefully those aren't inappropriate questions. Still new here if they are:)
