  1. I was recently surfing the net and found Papertrey Ink and they sell the acrylic stamps. I haven't had good luck with those and wanted to know if anybody had ever tried Papertrey or acrylic stamps and if so what your experience was. What kind of ink do you use? Thanks

  2. I know most of you have seen those soy beads they sell in the stores and I've looked everywhere to find a mold or how to pour those little buggers but couldn't come up with anything. My idea instead of those was to pour chocolate chips using a rubber embed mold. So, I bought the mold off ebay but it didn't come with any instructions. My question is what temp should I pour my little chips and (stupid question) what do I pour with? They're such tiny little crevices that a regular pour pot would be too much. I thought of using a paper cup but not sure. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Also, since I've never used a rubber or silicone mold, can I use straight paraffin with steraic or would that hurt the mold? Thanks for any input!!

  3. You know how when you use a dishwasher for the first time you swear you'll nevwer go back to washing dishes ever again by hand? Well I'll NEVER go back to a double boiler again. I used to use a double boiler years ago and then I started making candles again last year and found out that a presto pot is WAAAAY faster and easier. You don't have to worry about water getting in your wax or anything like that. Just melt your wax, pour it into the pour pot, add color and fragrance and pour that into your tart mold! Easy!!!

  4. I ordered some of those acrylic soap molds and figured I'd make tarts out of them right? Well I started out by using some mold release spray on them and everything came out great the first few times. Now on the 5th try the tarts won't come out of the darn molds. Do I have to clean these suckers and if so what do I clean them with? How hot should you pour? I'm clueless! Any tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
