Has anyone tried their conditioners?

Does anyone know of a company that has a good conditioner base that does not have to be melted down to mix? I know WSP has one but I need a ready made one that comes in the 1 gallon jugs that can be pumped out.

Does anyone know how to make these so the smell and it does not ruin the paper?

I saw a recipe online that was 50 ml water/2 ml EO and you spray them till damp and hang dry. Not sure how well this is gonna work but thought I would see if any of you all make these.

Who's the manufacturer of the 70/30 parasoy? I doubt the supplier preblends it themselves. Are you sure its not 6006? If your can find out the name of of the manufacturer I am sure others may know where to get it.

I always mixed my own custom parasoy blend so I can't help with a preblend.

That is a great question! I need to find that out. I thought I saw it somewhere on this board before but when I looked and did a search I went through alot of posts and couldn't find it.

I am going to have to set aside some time and do the research. Just don't have it right now. Too many things going on at once plus now the kids are out of school so I am even busier.

Really....Peaks Lemon Pound Cake smells just like lemon pound cake to me??? I thought it was dead on. Even my boyfriend liked it and he loves lemon stuff. I definately smell cake in there.

Did you put it in wax and/or soap or just smell it OOB?

Wow that is a long time ...it does not even take me that long to order and receive fom Peaks or MMS and they are on the otherside of the country.

I need 70/30 soy/paraffin blend wax and my old supplier no loner carries it. I have searched and searched for a comparable one and this supplier has it. I got my order the next day and I poured that night. Then have tested over the past week and yes it is pretty much the same wax as I had before that was no longer available.

I love this wax! ...and so do my customers. I am only carrying 10 scents so the testing was no biggie.

He apoligoized again saying they are human and make mistakes. I know that but...that was it. I would have been happy with $1 off my next order...for goodness sakes...but nothing!

If you know suppliers that carries a 70/30 soy paraffin...please let me know I will check them out. Gotta worry about shipping also. This one was not far away so shipping was not stupid.

It was in no way my fault. They are the one who did the charge so I agree about the bending over backwards to make it up. If I did that with a customer I would definately make up for the inconvenience. This is the first time I ordered from them also....so that makes it a little worse. The bank did confirm to them that there were 3 holds the day I found it. So there is no denying it. Guess we will see Monday. I did send them an email letting them know they did not take the holds off till yesterday.

The $199 hold x2 came off TODAY! I have no overdrafts showing yet. Hope it stays that way.

The company who caused the inconvenience has done nothing to offer any kind of 'I am sorry' for the problem we caused you. So not thrilled about that.

I am going to send them an email letting them know I was without $400 of MY money for a week becuase they put the hold on 3 times.

Unfortunatley I do have to order from them as they have something that I have to use. Otherwise I am going to spend a fortune with more testing and more in shipping fees from elsewhere.

I will give them one more shot when I need to order again but in the comments section I am going to clearly state that they need to be careful with my card.

I have not ordered from them in over a year. Never had a problem though. Maybe there summer hours are different. Send them an email that might get a response faster.

Well...it is Tuesday and guess what...the $199 was taken out ...and the 2 holds are STILL THERE!!! GRRRRRRRRR

Calling my bank tomorrow as he said he filled out the paperwork they suggested and it still has not been removed. I am also calling the supplier to let him know it is still there this many days later.

I know they are only holds but still this is absolutley ridiculous!

I don't want to say who...since they are being good about it and trying to get it resolved at this point.

They kept putting holds on it saying I gave them the wrong zip code...which I did not.. they even read it back to me and they have the correct zip.

It would not be as big of a deal if I had that much in my account and if I did not have alot going on. The holds will fall off in a few days but in the mean time. I have to give someone a graduation gift and have zero cash on me.

Also hoping it does not overdraft me in anyway. The bank doesn't seem to think it will since the other 2 holds will fall off. BUT if for some reason they run the actual card for purchase more than once. Then we will have a HUGE problem.

I'm giving them till tuesday to see what happens. This happened yesterday so there is no reason it should not be taken care of by then. I HOPE!

I am so upset right now. They said they have taken care of it but my bank still shows a negative balance because...

A supplier I ordered from put 3 hold on my account for $199...instead of 1. Which put me in a negative status. I was waiting on child support deposit so I checked my account online or I would not have even known about it. Now I have to go all weekend...on a holiday with a grad party to go to with $0...as I never have cash on me. The bank said the holds will drop off in 3-5 business days.

This is crazy!

If I end up with overdraft fees because stuff goes through before the holds go off they are going to have to pay them. This is in no way my fault ...good thing I looked becuase I was just going to go to the store and get food and cash out for the grad party gift.

Now I am worried about ordering from them again and I have to.

Has this ever happened to anyone else.

I don't want to be nasty and put the name of the biz on here as they are trying to fix it.

I second the KY blend.

I got a small batch to test it but then decided to stick with container candles so not add any new expenses at the time. If I was to start doing voitves or tarts again I would definately go with that wax! I tried some others also but this was my fav by far.

I hope this wax is like the Keystone one they don't carry anymore. I loved it and need a replacement for it. This looks like it would be a close bet. Even comes in the same case size and slab sizes. Love being able to cut it with a knife...like butter

I will give the CD 10 a whirl first and see what happens. Only starting out with 10 scents so this should not be to hard to get done and test in a decent amount of time. Gotta get ready for the holidays. I do gift baskets also and I would much rather have my candles in them and someone elses.

So I guess I should start with a CD 8 for an 8oz jelly jar. They are slightly over 2" in diameter on the top. Does that sound about right to you? or do you think you need to wick up to a 10 with this wax? I don't like the hang up on the sides and neither do my customers.

Was using zinc ...too much mushroom ...tooooo much smoke...too fast of a burn.

I really don't think zinc is made to go in a soy blend anyway.

Thinking of switching to HTP.

Does anyone who uses this wax have a real good outcome with a wick...or a suggestion.

Is there such a thing as waterproof KRAFT colored labels?

I am starting over and have to buy all new so I thought I would cater to the current market in my area...by going country.

Don't like the idea of kraft labels and water...seems they would bleed or get yucky.

I prefer sugar it is finer and doesn't seem to hurt as much. LOL

When I did my scrubs I did sugar in a soapy base and salt in an oily base.

Salt also seems to be more drying.
