Thanks Ladysj! The packaging ?? is: What is an attractive way to pkg them? I am wondering how they would look in cello bags tied with a twist? I feel like plain little zip loc bags just wouldn't cut it. If they look nice, the ladies group may want to do them for a breast cancer fundraiser, etc. What would a reasonable price be for a pkg of either 1/2 cup or 1 cup be? Also, I hadn't thought about shelf life. Got any info on that?

I purchased 20lbs. of prescented Dead Sea Salts to package as favors. They came with no instructions, and I haven't heard back from the seller. I need to do these quickly, so if anyone can help.....
How much do you use for an avg bath? I was thinking of packaging for at least 2 baths. Also, I won't need this much, so I would like to package it all because lots of times people in my ladies group ask to purchase little goodies I have left over from projects. Any recommendations about doing this??
I really need help with this so please help if you can.

Love this. Is this a tin basket with a handle? Not sure if I'm seeing correctly.

I have that problem, too. Thanks for the suggestion.

I like the smelly jellies for just about everywhere.

The candle looks great. I like the Candle Source. I've ordered fo's and soy from them several times. They are very helpful to beginners like me with wick suggestions and lots of patience with my questions. I ordered soy from another place ONCE and went back to Candle Source!

I love it and think it looks great for your first. I have had the fixins on my counter for a while and have been too chicken to try one. You've inspired me to get to it today!

They look so nice! I'd buy one. Bet my sister would, too!

Yes, the wick is way too crooked! Guess I got bored watching it. Sometimes working with gel can be like watching paint dry!

Thanks, Candybee. I am. The hardest part is behind me--making the decision. Now that I have made it, I feel better and more optimistic about the future.

Thanks to all of you for being so nice. I have had a lot of fun making stuff. Getting ready to go through a TERRIBLE divorce, and this helps take my mind off of it. By the way, I got the heart crusts from Cricket. She was so nice and helpful!

I've been trying to figure this out. Please let me know if I'm posting this correctly.

I originally was trying to respond to the discussions about candles in the heart-shaped glass.

I emailed her about the pics and descriptions. She got back to me right away; said she is working on those problems & hopes to be completed soon. And yes, her embeds are all scented unless noted otherwise. Looks very promising to me. Thanks, smart tart!

Went to the gelewood site. You're right--her prices are great. However, nothing had much description about whether or not the embeds were scented. Also, many of her pics didn't come through for me.

I made gel candles with strawberry embeds with these. I used 3 wicks but don't remember what kind. There was no problem with the burn. I would put a pic in the gallery, but I don't know how.

This is so pretty. I have tried a couple of these, but the bottom portion of mine look crappy. They smell good, and I love burning them myself, but I would like to know how you did the bottom portion?

I ordered from Kandies several times & was always pleased with her embeds. The last couple of times, I had to email to ask when I would be getting my order. This last time will be my last! The order is incomplete, 3 wks. late, weird excuses. I also ordered before she changed her website listing everything as unscented but wasn't told that they wouldn't be. What a disappointment. Poor quality. Tropical Breeze mentioned here has really nice embeds and fast shipment.

I looked at all of them. What an eye treat!

Thanks for that one. I've been to their site several of times but never to that page. I had tried to order them from Rustic Essentials, but they have discontinued them.

I used yellow with a smidge of orange. I took it to the VFW and put it on the bar. The bartender thought it was real. I also had over 10 people ask me to make them one!

Could anyone recommend a really good, informative book(s) for gel candles and container soys? I specifically need help with wick sizes, and every other aspect as well. I know there are websites, but I want a good book. I have purchased a couple of books, but they are just simple info with a few projects. Thanks for any suggestions!

I am impressed at not only your pic, but the beauty of the candles!
Help w/Dead Sea Salts, please

No ingredient list. Description just said genuine Dead Sea Salts with essential oils by L'Occitane. They offered them with no color or scent. I got the already scented and colored because I needed them right away for favors. I looked for quite a bit & felt like this looked like the best for the price. I would just like to get something for the remainder, even if it is to donate it to the ladies aux. for a fundraiser. I saw small jars with the wire bale clasp at $ general, but that puts pkging $$ too high. I think I'll go with cello with typed instructions on cardstock attached. Will post pic when I get done. Thanks!
