Did you try popping it in the microwave for 15 seconds to see if that will clear it up?
-
It looks great!!

A very interesting subject since I have been approached with wholesale offers a lot lately. I wonder if its:
1. worth the time
2. wonder how to price
3. should I have a minimum purchase amount (I was thinking $200 and 10 minimum of each scent...)
Hope some wholesale gurus can help:smiley2:

Joann Fabrics has a HUGE selection and you don't have to pay shipping:tongue2: I used to buy mine online too but now I get tons from Joann's.
-
Isn't that the truth. I have yet to receive mine from like 3 weeks ago or so.
I ordered some 5 weeks ago:( They told me right when I ordered in red at the top of the screen that they were experiencing delays. Oh well. When I order supplies from Fedex they get here the next day, literally!

The site looks wonderfully done. That being said, I concur with the others about the names and descriptions and think you are making the right choice to create 2 sister sites.

I use some of my warmed melted oils to mix my powder colorants.
Ditto!

I did not know the soap fairy could be in 2 places at once! The same thing happened to me last night, I had to pull my crockpot out and HP it (at 2 in the morning, not fun!)

Thanks:smiley2: It can be used for shaving and as a body wash. A little is all it takes for nice stable bubbles.
Posting a few recipes today that have worked well for me, you can also formulate your own with your oils available. I like to use 25%-40% stearic and 20-25% coconut/palm kernel. The rest I make up with conditioning oils.

I package it in 8 oz basic jars:)

The one on the left holds 2# and the one on the right 3#.
-
They do not have a minimum of 5# per scent, its 5# per order. You can mix and match. At least that's what my rep there told me.

The funny thing is that the man has bought me plenty of real gold tennis bracelets, and know what they are supposed to look like, and knows that if I wear anything other than gold or platinum my skin turns into the Incredible Hulk. I think he left his brain at home that day.

Dont you just hate it when husbands bring you useless things? Mine once brought home a fake gold cubic zirconium tennis bracelet he found on the ground. I looked at him and said "What the bleep am I supposed to do with that?!"

Yes ladies and gents, in just 2 weeks you too can experience the euphoria of making your own cream soap. Latest batch freshly whipped. Its pretty dense:
-
I am making some whipped soap, hot processed soaps, and whipping up my latest batch of cream soap. Then I have oodles of soap to get cut and/or take pictures of.
-
I woudl say about 2-3 hours.
-
I challenge you to make a 2 oz batch, 4 color swirl.
-
That is weird, never had that happen before. The only thing I can think of to do would be to pour the entire thing back into a pot and set it in a warm oven for a few hours and see if that helps clear it up, 180-200. Did you add fragrance?
-
I would start with very small amounts (teaspoon), a little goes a long way.
-
Wow wow wewa, those look great!
-
You risk taker you!

I use Paint Shop Pro, it was a jpeg, and it was 1000 reolution, I believe 1000x1000 pixel because I wanted it as clear as possible. I will open it up once I get back from genetics and let you know for sure.

What I do is match some of them up and do the toothpick part test and create house blends. If I like them enough I create them in larger bottles. Or I pour them into sample vials and give them to my customers. More often than not I get enough interest from feedback from them or custom orders than I get a whole bottle.
Or I do double layer limited edition soaps.

My soaps usually are around 9-10. Have you tried it and found it drying as well? The only solution I can think of would be adding glycerin or hydrovance, and yes, maybe try the borax.
