I use Rose Petals from Cajun Candles and it's a big seller. I don't
care for rose personally, but it does smell just like one! hth
-
So glad that you are feeling better. Take care of yourself!
-
Wishing you a speedy recovery Becky! You're in our thoughts and prayers.

I have used IGI 4625 to make chunk pillars and find that it works very
well. I can see the colors vividly through the overpour. I don't add any
color at all to the overpour, just fo. I also put fo in the chunks. HTH.

I also love Summer Splash from JS. I burn it in my bathroom and
can smell it for days after I burn it. Love it!
-
I love JS Hawaiian White Ginger. It's awesome in J223. Haven't tried any
b & b products, but I do love it in candles!
-
I love apples & berries too! Cherry Blossom throws like that too. Coco
Mango is pretty strong too. I have customers who love the Honeydew
Melon....it's just not a personal favorite, so I never burn it, but they tell
me it throws awesome too.

I'm not sure about the food scents, but the other combinations sound
good. Try mixing Indonesian Teak with Maduro......I've heard that makes
a nice combination.......not sure what rainforest smells like though!
-
Indonesian Teak and Sultry Angel are very similar. The Sultry Angel might
have a little more vanilla in it?? They are both awesome, but I think too
similar to carry both.
-
Thanks Meridith.......I forget details sometimes........just so excited about these scents!
Maduro and Lily of the Valley I tested using paraffin and made votives. I use zinc 44 wicks for my votives. Indonesian Teak I used J223 in a tureen with
two htp wicks. Normally I make votives for testing purposes. I figure if a votive can smell up a room, it's a good scent.

I just got this in last week from CC and I love it!!! It will be an awesome summer scent. I've tested it in J223 and it's really nice....not too over
powering, but you can definitely smell it. I really wish that I'd learn to do
B&B products because this would be an amazing bath or lotion scent!

I've been having such fun with my Greenleaf oils! I really love Indonesian Teak. It reminds me of CC Sultry Angel. I really like Maduro also. They
let me try a new one called Lily of the Valley and it is awesome! It's a very
nice floral scent. That's all I've put into wax so far. OOB I really love
Sarsen, Violet Musk and Starla. Didn't care for the Polynesian Black Ginger
too much. I also need to test Magic of India, Grapefruit Watermelon, Citrus and Teak and Mambo for men & women. I know that I can't judge these oob,
so I'll be busy testing for a while. So far Indonesian Teak, Maduro and Lily of the Valley are excellent!

I have to brag about the customer service at Greenleaf. I placed my
first order with them yesterday. At around 5:30 yesterday afternoon,
I found out that my husband was attending a meeting just blocks from
Greenleaf. He said he'd pick up whatever I needed. They were able to
get it together within minutes and have it ready when he got there. I
cannot wait for him to get home so I can smell! I went with your
recommendations so I know they will be great. Awesome customer
service Greenleaf! Just wish I had been there so I could have sniffed
everything!

Apples & Berries is one of my favorites! Awesome throw! It's more on the
sweet side, but everyone loves it.
You have to try Cherry Blossom. It's a floral scent with just a hint of
cherry, but it's amazing! I also love Coco Mango and Honeydew Melon. I
mix vanilla bake with cinnamon and it smells really good. Blueberry is also
really good. Another awesome one is the Spearmint Eucalyptus. That's all
I can remember right now. Oh, I also like to mix their lemon drop and coconut. Yum!

Who has the best Cranilla? Does anyone remember Cranilla from Aspen
Bay candles? It was the best and now it's discontinued. Trying to find
another good one.
TIA

Thanks for the description Scented! That sounds very yummy! I'm trying to match a Voluspa candle which is described as Italian lime peel with almond baked biscotti, whipped cream and ground nutmeg. Maybe I could mix a little
Lime with the Brooklyn Biscotti....??
-
God, I have power! And you ordered samples? See you still didn't listen did you? Man you're gonna pitch out another $100 LOL! And it is not my fault.
But I might take blame if you didn't order the Brooklyn Biscotti. OMG!! The strength of this one. Tis good. No, wait. Tis VERY good. I think it's going under lock and key because it's too realistic for me and I was supposed to be on a diet. Damn, where's my water.
Hey Scented,
Can you describe the Brooklyn Biscotti? I couldn't find scent descriptions on the website. It sounds really good.
Thanks
-
The Tayberry & Teakwood is awesome. One of my favorites. That's the only one I've tried from your list.

I'm looking for a scent to match this description:
Italian Lime peel with almond baked biscotti, whipped cream frosting and
ground nutmeg
Does this sound familiar to anyone? TIA!

I just received my first order from The Candle Source this week. I ordered Friday and it was here Monday! I ordered the Cinnamon & Sandalwood after getting good reviews from others and I really like it. It throws extremely well
in paraffin..........and I am just testing a votive. It has smelled up my entire living room and traveling to the kitchen. It's the only one I've tested so far,
but so far I'm impressed.
-
I agree with SheilaW.....Cajun Candles has an awesome Coco Mango.
-
Thanks everyone. You have convinced me that I need to try it!

Can anybody tell me what this smells like? I didn't see a description
of it on the website. Thanks so much!

You can also try Neroli & Cedar from Candle Cocoon. Love that scent!!
Very earthy and has an awesome throw in J223.
Any other cross stitchers???

Your work is beautiful Donna! I did lots of cross stitching before I had
kids! Not so much anymore. I have done Christmas stockings for all
of us. The pictures that I have done are mostly of local culture stuff, like
Tobasco products, crab boil, Gumbo, New Orleans courtyard scenes, etc.
And of course baby room pictures!
