Yeah You!!! Doing the happy dance for you.
You will love Soapmaker when you get it too.

I used 1/8 of a teaspoon (per pound), and got no color change, so I added 1/2 a teaspoon, and there was still no color.
Ok, let me tell you my method for SS Colorants. It is called "squirt & stir" I usually just shake the bottle real good, put a couple of drops in my soap at the time, stir, add more as needed. I mainly only swirl with colors, so it doesn't take much.
Sorry you had a problem with yours, does it look any better today?

I don't have a clue, Select Shades has never disappeared on me. How much did you use?

Love your soap!
Love the colors and the whispy black veining.

If you dissolve 1T ppo sugar in your water before you add the lye, it will make your hp more fluid. The first batch that I did was without sugar, since that first one, sugar is in all my hp batches.
Sugar is probably in your home, sl isn't.

I can't buy it off the shelves anymore either. Can't find it at our Kroger .

has anyone ordered from here they show examples of how the soap will come out with the FO and the flora additives
I have ordered some fos and eos from them, they were quick to ship and the packaging was great. They ship in amber glass, I like that.
Haven't tried their colorants but I wouldn't hesitate to order them.

Thanks, I bookmarked it to check out thoroughly later!

what is the difference?
No difference, it is the same thing.
pkf or palm kernal flakes is the same thing in flake form instead of solid.
It can be confusing sometimes.

I buy their unscented aftershave and love it. I don't sell much, but like to have something for the men and this is a good one.
I remember reading raves about somebody's lotion in a swap and they posted and said that it was a base from Bayousome.

I have heard of people putting saran wrap on top then smoothing with a credit card. Haven't tried myself though.

Well, I DO have the new job, with a paycheck on the way....
Is that what I want to be looking at?
Definately ......love, love, love mine.

Thanks for that link, I've bookmarked them to order from later.

I like to add the crystals to some lavender eo and leave them. They dissolve in the eo and are ready to use.
Thanks for the tip. I just got a little to try and will use your method to melt them.

I have several caucasian women using shea butter in their hair. It is used as a pre-treat 30 minutes to a couple of hours before shampooing. It is great for moisturizing and conditioning. Just remember, a little is all you need.

(And for Tara too lol) You didn't see what ummm we did LOL! So, to me, this is a fluke I still don't get the slab swirl technique.
THanks all for your comments! The scent is growing on me Grumpy.
Whatever you did, do it again! That looks fantastic, love the colors and the swirls..........:highfive:

That looks really good! I have only done the olive and castor. Think I'll go weight out your formula and give it a try. Thanks!

Both of your soaps are simply stunning!:highfive:

not much at all really...which is why I dont get why this happend. And of course the soap itself is to die for...
It's usually the "to die for" soaps that I find a way to muck up somehow. :embarasse
Hopefully it will not be staining when you actually use the soap with water.
