  1. I went to read reviews yesterday (was curious to read reviews for the March swap) and want to say thank you for the comments on my lotion!!! Yes - it is handmade! I had pretty much settled on using that recipe to sell (I've tested so many in the past year) and you guys pretty much sealed the deal for me :D .

    Thanks! Jen

  2. I've done a 100% monoi salt bar that is loverly :D .

Salt bars are not "supposed" to be scrubby (except for possibly the first use). Some people say they feel like washing with polished stone...I find that to be an accurate description.

  3. Yup - strong throw to me means house filler. I'm ok with an fo that's a one-floor filler...but that's my minimum requirement. I've found a few JS fos that fit the bill...Cranberry Orange for one kicks butt! I just cp'd it as well and so far it's holding strong (I'm about 3 or so weeks into cure).

  4. Yeah, cmille! Didn't you use monoi in a bubbling bath salt? I used it a couple of weeks ago (was saving it for special me-time) and loved it!!!!! I'm pretty sure it was you....

I use monoi to wash my face (along with some castor oil) - love it!

There's probably a lot of comedogenic (sp) items in what we make....I think cocoa butter is comedogenic too...but it's lovely in lotions and body butters! I probably wouldn't use a cocoa butter lotion on my face...nor would I probably use a coconut oil lotion...or any lotion for that matter. I use squalene (with a titch of monoi and vitamin e) as my moisturizer. But using those lotion/butters on my body...I don't worry so much about clogging my pores.

Do your lip balms contain cocoa butter? I know someone who breaks out on her chin if she uses a cocoa butter lip balm.

Just trying to point out a couple of ways to think about this. I don't think you posted that this was a facial lotion...

  5. Brenda - I am so sorry that you have to come on here constantly and explain, etc. For crying freaking out loud people...it's a free offer. How about you do what I did and order a 10lb slab to test like you would with any other vendor? That way you become a "paying" customer (preference over free offers as Brenda has stated many times) with a vendor that everyone's raving over...I think it's worth it. Cut off your nose to spite your face if you wish...but quit your bellyaching.

    Geez.

  6. Endless Love Perfume Oil, Whipped Coffee Butter Facial Scrub, Soy Lotion Stick, and Pink Sugar Whipped Body Butter.

Maryann - Here are my reviews!

Endless Love Perfume oil - lovely! Excellent staying power!

Whipped Coffee Butter Facial Scrub - I would not use this on my face...mostly because it has a fragrance oil. I did use it on other parts of my body....love the scent! Would you share the fo source? If not - completly understand!

Soy Lotion Stick - really liked this! I'm not usually a big fan of lotion bars (they feel weird to me for some strange reason) but this didn't leave me with that weird feeling. Noticed that you put "all natural" (or something to that effect) on the label and its really not since you use a fragrance oil.

Pink Sugar Whipped Body Butter - I actually brought this to work with me today. I love it! So creamy smooth and the color is wonderful!

I loved your other items too! Had lots of fun with the bubble bath and melts :).
