I think if you are completely confident in your candles then sell them... it will let people know you truely care about what you are doing as you have few varieties as of now but the ones you do have are wonderful and will be well worth the wait of anything new. HTH

I've never thrown a party so this is a good thread for me to watch and take notes... i think finger food would be good though with punch. Nice but not fancy... after all you don't know how much they are going to spend and it could be less then worth the hassel if you go too far out.

WOW... i thought it was a law you had to label... you're right no wonder so many people notice little things about ours because they know nothing about the others. I love knowing what exactly I'm getting i wouldn't purchase something that wasn't labeled... completely understand the vent.

Hey hun.. I think the sachets or organza bags would be very nice... only thing that would be a concern is how well they keep scent mix scent what not. You might want to concider packaging them in sachets or organza and then putting them in a cello bag with a label or something... sorry no experience with these so just going from images in my head. lol

Wow how neat I had no idea you could use aloe for that... I'm curious about the Preservative issue like Satin mentioned anyone have any idea on what to use or if it needs one? I'd love to try my hand at some of this stuff...

That's the stuff... buy some and give it a try, well worth spending the cash on and I don't think it's that pricey if I recall correctly... let us know if it works for him.

Ok since I don't have one of those awesome machines there isn't much I can add other then... sheesh who are you friends with? What an awesome gift.... sure hope you get that figured out soon though, so you can start using it and showing us what a great job it does shrink wrapping your products.

Thanks for posting this I wasn't sure if there was a technique anyone used to make their tarts. I've been trying my hand at tarts for about a week now and love them just am looking for a way to be more creative with them. If I figure anything out I'll be sure to share.

Hey hun, as far as I know most of peaks fragrances are safe for bath and body products... other then that check out the thread on suppliers by state maybe you can find one that is close to you that others have used and like.

I live a couple hours from there or maybe an hour so I should be able to go and since it's on a weekend that makes my odds even better. Hopefully we'll get to meet up there crossing my fingers. My mom will be with me as she drives me anywhere that is too far from home. I'm one of the younger candle makers (Senior in Highschool) so I'm not completely off on my own yet lol. Hi hun... I've never actually ordered from them but on another forum i'm on I've heard some very nice things. I believe they are where many people get their floral waxes from as well. Yet to hear a bad thing about them but to be safe I would e-mail them and see how the customer service is before ordering.

Hey hun... my brother works on jeeps all the time as a hobbie and there is a mechanics soap that is citrus scented comes out a cream color normally in an orange bottle if this rings a bell for anyone shout it out lol... he's at work right now but I'll ask him when he gets off... it works on getting EVERYTHING off the skin... well ok not everything but so far I haven't found anything it won't take off hows that. If no one names it before 6 my time i'll come back and post the name when i find out. HUGS

WOW satin that's an extreme amount of recipes lol i copied and pasted them to a file incase i ever get back into soap those sound yummy.
