That was one of the reasons I have been making a list and checking it twice! I keep checking his site and my list is growing.

I have been watching the swaps and keep thinking, hmmm maybe the next one. Thought about it, then the swap is closed, so maybe the next one...

Well, since I have a raspberry I really don't care for, I mixed it equally with peppermint patty for a nice smooth chocolate raspberry.(Inspired by Bunny's sig line) and today it was the raspberry with lemon and a hint of lime for some pink lemonade.

So far they smell really good... but looks? I don't think so.

Not artistic enough to get it from my head to the mold I guess.

Boy, I thought, my 3 little cases wasn't much. But seriously....

Carebear, if I thought anything I did was worthy of a swap, I would be there for it! Right now, I mainly keep my daughter and her unit supplied with candles.(She is in Texas, in the army and pregnant) but, she loves them so thats whats important I guess.

Since I have too much time on my hands these days, at least I can play with wax.

Christina, I don't do soaps, so discolor isn't a problem unless you look at my candles, which one day I will post a pic of here. But, the real reason I am looking for new scents is because you all make me drool over the soaps in the galleries. Amazing the soaps you do! I would be happy with any of them. Truely.

Diamond, the Mango Tea, and Pear Teas are both maybes as well. I guess I should just bite the bullet and order all non florals and be done with it. And I didn't plan on just the little one ounce. I figured, for the shipping I might as well go with the 4 ounce. I don't make enough to justify the 8's yet.

I have been down to Key West so many times this past year, and the two cut and carve candle shops are going out of business. Part is due to the hurricanes, but also, I think because people are moving away from the cut and carves. Have you noticed this trend?

Ok, after reading through here and finding out how much everyone loves Solas, I have decided to bite the bullet and order some new scents this coming week. The question isn't "which one?" though. The question is, has anyone tried the Caribbean Summer? And if so, what does it smell like? I really would like to order one of everything like so many here, but, I can't use the really strong florals. If anyone has used this one, please let me know?

That is so cute! What were the kids ages?

You could do them in a small cello bag with ribbon to co-ordinate with the event. Or use tulle with ribbon over the bag.

Tins would be nice, but depending on the decor, I would go with tulle.

Try this place. I did a search on here for dust covers and this was in one of the old posts.

Could it be that your wick has shifted in the jar? Only thing I could think of if its burning more on one side than evenly.

I have used the pillar/votive blend. Not too many people on this board have any thing to say about it. I have searched the board and most don't use it. Its the KY143 I think. I live in Florida as well, but I don't use soy. Ky isn't too bad on shipping, but its all relative for us down here I guess. I have ordered from Pennsylvania as well as other places and so far for what I want, Ky is it. HTH

Welcome to the board. Usually for tarts you can use any type of pillar/votive wax. Some even use container wax. Usually I pour whats left out of my pot into a silicone mold. HTH. Have fun and experiment!
