Vanilla Walnut from the Candle Source. Very strong in soy.

I like pears and petals from the candle source.

I am in Canada and each time I ordered from Becky the shipping was high in the basket then I was fully reimbursed for the difference later. Becky was quick to reply each time, though it was before she became ill. I'm pretty sure she (or someone there) will straigten it out for you.

You won't be disappointed, I've loved everything from them. All great sellers in melts. Loren is just amazing, too!

Nature's Garden has Jovan Musk.

Show of hands, who saw this one coming??

The banana split smells like marshmallow banana candy to me, excellent cold throw and hot throw in ecosoya cba (melts).
-
Pears and Petals - unbelievable scent.

I think of lilies and chocolate. There are some oils out there with religious names, as well (God's Love from NG is good) if you're looking to go that route.

I like strawberries and champagne (candle source)

I've overheated that wax and it set up chalky and kind of white and brittle. Still smelled good, though.

I like liquid soap for hand washing, too. It just looks cleaner, you know? (I know, soap IS clean... lol). But, I have to say, since doing a few mixed swaps and using handmade soap in the shower I won't go back to the yucky store bought stuff. I had no idea this stuff was so much BETTER! Now, I'm fostering my bath bomb addiction! You guys are killing me!

Everything that stinks gets mixed with vanilla or cinnamon... lol. Doesn't always work, though...

I love the vanilla mint. I've used it in soy melts and they do very well at a little less than 1.5 oz pp, most people love it - even people who don't like vanilla OR mint... lol. It's a nice combo.

I've used coconut banana blast in melts (soy) and it's really nice. Everyone that smells it loves it. I had to use 1.5 oz pp on this one, I think it's just the nature of the scent, meant to be lighter.

I have to agree. I don't buy in bulk either and a votive is costing me nothing near that much. Maybe you could list the numbers you used to get your cost?

I have been testing and researching since April and have just gotten to the point of selling some melts and tealights to help pay for my supplies (read: not even anywhere NEAR breaking even... lol). In September I gave my sister some votives and melts. A friend of hers thought it would be easy to make her own candles for her "wedding reception" and wanted to know about supplies and how to make them. I gave her two websites (this one and Canwax) and told her to research and then buy a kit. Less than a month later she had melts, jars, votives and tealights in a little shop. Aggravating, yes. But I can be sure that anything I sell has been tested and is of the best quality my research and developing has allowed me to produce. Her "products" will speak for themselves as well. In the end, I think I know who will come out on top.

God's Love from NG is just beautiful. Kind of fitting, too, maybe...

Coffee Caramel Cream from The Candle Source.

4 in a cello bag, tied with raffia.

About 400 lbs soy, maybe 50 lbs paraffin. If it wasn't for testing (and much of it was) then it was for melts/tealights (the only things I'm comfortable selling at this point). I am surprised, though, at how well the melts went over, during the holiday season I filled orders almost every night. Paid for a little of the supplies I bought... lol.

I like the flakes as opposed to slabs. Plain and simple.

I may be an exception but I have never had any problems with PayPal. I don't have my bank account linked to it, just my credit card. As far as I understand there wouldn't be a balance unless you transferred funds there yourself or received a payment from someone. Any transactions made would be displayed on your "my account" page.

I don't think it's juvenile, but it doesn't really say St. Patrick's Day to me. I thought instantly of:
Pot of Gold Candles (or Candle Company)
Leprechaun Candles (or Candle Company)
End of the Rainbow Candles (or Candle Company)
