I usually buy from BCN, so this is my first BCS order (and I live in the south)! But there are a few I've wanted to try and I need a decent Lemon Verbena that doesn't cost the earth (SW) for candles and I couldn't pass up the sale to try them, and BCN doesn't have Lemon Verbena...sooooooo
-
Here's my list of to buys:
Bird of Paradise
Christmas Spice
Harvest
Holiday Wassail
Lemon Verbena
Sissies Sugar Cookies
Strawberry Shortcake
Cranberry Crumble
Homespun Sugar
Gingerbread
Any other MUST-TRY'S????

I forgot to add they are the Ultra concentrates.

I just placed my first order and I'm hoping to get some reviews on some that I bought:
Apple Jack & Peel (concentrate)
Jo Malone French Lime Blossom (conc.)
Christmas Cookie (yank-dup) (conc.)
I also bought a lb. of the liquid silk base.
Thanks,
Beverly

Hi, Be prepared, as candle making is HIGHLY addictive . I started with EcoSoya Advanced Soy wax for containers but I was unhappy with the frosting issue and I wanted a stronger scent throw, hot and cold . So I switched to a 50-50 blend (50% soy 50% parafin), I buy it at Just Scents, it's the JSB-1 50-50 blend container wax and I have been EXTREMELY HAPPY with the switch, no more frosting and excellent scent throws! This is my personal choice and you will find alot of different choices available to you so I agree do some research and when you decide what you want you will need to do ALOT of testing!!! AND be prepared to spend some money as fragrance oils are also highly addictive AND have fun!!

I need some votive wicks (RRD-29-3) from CS and there are a few f/o's I need but I'm hoping to get some reviews first on Apple Jack & Peel, is it a strong one? Lemon Verbena again is it strong? I ask because of previous experience..... not ALL of their oils are strong...Ocean Mist, the mix that has Sage in it and the special Meadow were all weak scents. There ARE some good one's Med Fig, Lemon Chiffon, Creme Brulee, ect. Anyone?
TIA,

MOST difficult.....hmmmmmm......:rolleyes2 I guess.... My Fav's :
1) Aqua Spa (WSSP) Bath Bombs, Lotion, Candles
2) Indonesian Teak (GL) Candles
3) Citrus Bergamot (GL) Bath Bombs, Lotion...soon Candles
4) Lavender Basil (BCN) Bath Bombs, Lotion, Candles
5) Basil Sage Mint (BCN) Bath Bombs
My customers:
1) Birthday Cake (KY) Candles
2) Creme Brulee (BCN) Candles
3) Citrus Bergamot (GL) Bath Bombs, Lotion...soon Candles
4) Aqua Spa (WSSP) Bath Bombs, Lotion, Candles
5) Lavender Basil (BCN) Bath Bombs, Lotion, Candles
TOO HARD to narrow down! I also LOVE Starla (GL), mixing Maduro (GL) equal to Indonesian Teak (GL, candles) and so on......

Since there was a disscussion about it's uses for a sprayable perfume, who has the BEST price, I need to buy some more.

IF you are going to venture into selling...you need a computer with a printer, a decent label program (maybe a Printmaster, Walmart), labels to print on, plenty of printer ink....the list can get REALLY LONG ....I'm SURE there are more items WE HAVE to have!!!!
