  1. ok i did search.. but i came up with not alot.. I was just wondering if anyone was making this that would help me out? or is there anyone out there making a body spray that is made out of simple (taste safe) ingredients that I could just add Flavor oil to.. I want to play with this and I have some ideas and some background. I was just wondering if there was anyone out there that has ACTUALLY made it?

    Thanks in advance.

OH and brambleberrys base is the following.. i just need some guidlines on amounts or subs etc...

Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Flavor, Aspartame, Sodium Benzoate, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, FD&C Yellow #6, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #1, FD&C Yellow #5

  2. I had a lady at a daycare that I worked at do this. She 'laminated' the fortunes with packing tape.. just put the tape over the fortune and then cut it out so that there are no tape edges showing... she did a whole page at once and would put tape on the page and THEN cut the individual fortunes... I thought this was smart because the fortune is something that will end up in the garbage anyways right... so why invest money in it....

BTW this lady laminated EVERYTHING with packing tape hehe

  3. Oh that is too cute, love that snowman felt bag!

I'd love to see the products outside of the bag, especially that little snowman "jar" with the salts in it-hint hint! :)

Thanks for all the great comments guys! THis was so fun to make.. I will have to see if i can get a pic of the jar.. i have santas in red and green too hehe

  4. I told you on chat i loved this, but thought i'd post for all to see.

You amaze me. I would love to be able to make something this awesome. I'm just getting started, therefore a lot of practice, supplies to be purchased, and things to learn by asking lots of questions.

Someday when i'm ready i hope mine turn out as good!! And i love how you "dressed up" the picture without overdoing it. Showing someone how they could display it in their home gets their creative ideas flowing and i think encourages them to buy more-imo anyways!!

and I just ordered my daystar oils-the pressure finally got to me. I got tired of hearing everyone say how great these oils are!! so, now i will find out for myself.

what a lucky customer-i hope she appreciates it-i know i sure would!!!

    Thanks for sharing with us!!!

Dont you worry I APPRECIATE IT A TON!! these will be the talk of our Christmas Believe me!!

  5. I agree Bath salts are a popular starting point. But for me some of the easiest things I make are Massage Melts, Tub Truffles and simple M&P.. but as you get into it not only do you get addicted you also get additied to making everything better and harder lol.. LOTS OF FUN BUT TIME CONSUMING!!! Best to prewarn Hubby hehe

  6. Ok I want to make some but i know you have to scent the beads first.. I cant find how much FO to use though BCN site only says to put the beads and FO in a jar and then wait for the oil to be sucked up.. PLEASE HELP how much do i need to put in of each?

eta.. reread it a million times and now i see that it says for the demo they used 1tbs FO and 4 tbs beads.. is this about right?

  7. Massage bars? Are these like lotion bars or soap?

I'm thinking they are for "massaging" and if that is the case, and you're marketing them for couples etc. I would definitely go with warmer scents, especially the vanilla types, men just go nuts for vanilla I'm tellin' ya!! ;)

How bout a vanilla spice scent??

Yep they are for massaging, they are solid massage oil. lol and thanks for the tip! lol

  8. How about Pine, even though that may be too peppy (MMS has a nice one that stays in CP). What about that Cranberry soap I sent you? That FO is AWESOME, its NG's Cranberry Cobbler and its spicey w/ no irritation problems. I like WVS as well.

Oh good point that would be nice.. the cranberry cobbler.. but I just can do a NG order lol it would be too large!

Pine might be neat for men! I will ponder that

What about hot chocolate or chocolate mint?

And right NO cinnimon or Nutmeg!

  9. Ok I want to make up some christmas massage bars, but I am stuck on what scent to do them. The ones I make on a regular basis are things like Passionate kisses and what not.

What to do for something different, has to be somewhat relaxing so candycane is out. I would think light would be better? argh any help for this foggy brain would be great!

    Thanks!
