The only one I have tried of those is the vanilla Noel and I use 415

I love it out of all the vanillas I have tried - it wicks good for me and throws strong- I can't compare to BBW because I never tried it but I can say the one from WSP is supposed to be the dupe and MW is cheaper and smells the same to me so I switched suppliers on this one and for me all the dupes at WSP for Yankee have been dead on so I have to believe the BBW ones are also

    Hope that helps some.

Moonshine, can you tell me more about Vanilla Noel? Can you smell all the notes? And also is it free off that chemical/base smell some fragrance oils have?

@Moonstar HAPPY NEW YEAR!  I have not tried a vanilla coconut from PFO.  I don’t think they have one.  🤔. However I have tried their Vanilla Noel and LOVE IT!  Vanilla Coconut sounds good though.  I am wanting to place an order for some of the Tom Ford Type FO’s next.  🥰. I have a good variety of oils from PFO and to this day they rock in my waxes!  Once you try some of their oils it’s nearly impossible to not keep going back because of how they perform!  ❤️❤️❤️  Plus their customer service is stellar!  Have you tried anything from PFO?

Could you explain what vanilla noel smells like? Is there any chemically smell? Can you smell every note?

Mrs. Claus cookies from NG is very nice. Their Vanilla Bean smells just like it too so I'm not sure why they have both. VBN from WSP is great but expensive and it doesn't blend in as well to me. It's heavy. Also DayStar's Vanilla Bean cookies smells just like it. I've also bought marshmallow fluff from FB (they're having a 25% off sale today) and to my nose it smells like VBN. I thought they had mistakenly sent me their VBN by mistake but the next time I ordered I got MF again and it still smells like VBN to my nose. It's great!

Thank you! Is Daystars pretty sweet? Any musk in there?

  4. So I actually don't care for vanilla bean noel the actual fragrance, but I had this idea in my head of what it should smell like if you know what I mean. I'm looking for a very rich delicious vbn fragrance oil. Sugar cookies, caramelized  sugar,  and lots of foodie sweet vanilla. And a hint of musk. Please throw at me your favorite oils that fit this description or any you really love. Thanks all!

DS Ultimate Vanilla might work for you as it's not a foody type of scent (at least to my nose) unlike her Vanilla Delicious; Ultimate Vanilla is a very sophisticated type of vanilla.  DS Ultimate Vanilla is OOS right now but Vanilla Voodoo by Candle Cocoon is identical.   DS Indulgent One and Wood Vanilla might be something you may want to check out as well.  These are dupes of perfumes but are very lovely.  You might want to also look into JS Vanilla Bean (very clean).  Most of the vanillas I use and love are really heavy on the sweeter and bakery type notes.

Hi there, can you tell me your favorite bakery/sweet vanillas? I'm having such a hard time to find a rich luscious vanilla.

I am using the S'mores from Bitter Creek, and I love it. More chocolate than marshmallow, but it might be a good starting point for a blend. I can smell the graham cracker in it, but the chocolate and marshmallow definitely hit you first. It's super strong, and the price is fantastic. Just throwing that out there. 😉

What kind of chocolate vibe do you get in this fragrance oil, like an authentic chocolate smell or like a tootsie roll smell? Or like cocoa powder?

Have you tried ICS's Toasted Marshmallow? Very sweet, a hint of caramalization, and it throws well for me in palm and CBL125. I like BC's S'Mores, but it's really heavy on the chocolate, so the next time I pour it I am going to mix in the marshmallow to cut it a bit.

Does the McCall's have chocolate and graham, or is it just the marshmallow?

I know this has been quite the quest for you!

Does ICS's toasted marshmallow smell gooey? I've been trying to find the perfect toasted marshmallow fragrance that is authentic. I don't like RE's it doesn't smell like marshmallow at all to me.

Elements toasted marshmallow is very good- I don’t use it often not liking sweet/food scents much and I wish I could tell you they were the same but I’m not sure on that either ….it’s been a long time since I tried the ah/re version, I settled on elements for some reason

Can you explain what elements smells like? I own RE and don't like it, I don't think it smells anything like marshmallow, Elements description sounds more authentic.

Looked around and ended up adjusting my fragrances a bit as far as; top, middle & base.  With that along with curing, we'll see what happens!  Will keep you updated!! 😁

Any update? I don't use fixatives in my perfume and have a hard time getting the scent to last.

I haven't tried the one from MS but the marshmallow fluff from FB is really good. Lone Star's marshmallow is the most unique one I've ever smelled though. I'm not saying it's the best but it's different. But I would choose the one from FB. I"ll have to sniff the one from LS again and compare it to a bag of marshmallows.

Does the one from fragrance buddy have that ooey gooey melted marshmallow rich vanilla scent?

Have you tried Toasted marshmallow from RE or Marshmallow Fluff from Fb? They're both amazing!

I have Toasted Marshmallow from RE, I am one of the rare people that doesn't care for it. I haven't tried Marshmallow Fluff from fragrance buddy, but I may.... I read Trap say that WSP has a good gooey Marshmallow but the reviews are mixed on that one.And then Lizzy said that Maple Street has a good one too. So I'm trying to decide where to go.

I've never poured a smores scent but I think I have a couple of samples. I was thinking of trying to blend my own with graham crackers, chocolate and marshmallow FO. I haven't done it yet though.

I'm thinking I might have to do the same thing, I'm new to blending though, I don't have a perfect Marshmallow yet.

I did get the Campfire S'Mores and love it in my soy melts. Very chocolatey : ) I can smell a little marshmallow in there too. Would be happy to send anyone a sniffie

What kind of chocolate do you get from this, like a milk chocolate a dark chocolate or like a tootsie roll type scent? 🤔 Can you smell the graham cracker?

@Jcake90, Seems like Toasted Marshmallow from Rustic Escentials has gotten good reviews on this forum. I used to have some and I thought it was good, but I don't remember it having much of a 'toasted' smell. (But it's been a few years since I smelled it.)

A couple of marshmallow scents on Fragrance Buddy's site have good reviews, and they're having a good sale right now. I'm thinking of ordering the Marshmallow Fluff for Hot Chocolate & Marshmallow candles.

Did you ever order the fluff from fragrance buddy, if so how did you like it?

I will report back when I get them in products, but I could not keep myself from reporting that I received an order from Daystar and I cannot believe how good everything smells. I will be wearing several of them as perfumes. If you're into boutique, high-end, unusual, perfume-based stuff, get thee to the Daystar site because wow. I'm happy to list my fragrances if you're interested. Just remember, they're OOB, but that matters to me if I know I'm using them in a perfume or in a B&B product.

Also, please share your favorites! I want to buy more!

Did Marshmallow Fluff hold up in perfume? Are her oils good for perfume?

@Darbla I've actually been playing around the past month/month in a half with different fragrances and am loving it so far. I made my spouse some colognes and he loves them. I use 95% Ethanol and have had some really good results. I'm going to grab some Fractionated Coconut Oil and some roller ball bottles and try to make roll-ons next as I think these would do even better as oil perfumes. Your old posts here are pretty much what made me take the jump into it and I'm glad I did!

Wanted to bring this thread back because I also believe a lot of these FO's are diluted with solvent despite being advertised as being uncut. I ordered a bunch recently and they definitely have the same "soapy" base to them that kind of ruins the scent in ethanol when I was trying to make a body spray/perfume out of them. I'm guessing a lot of soap and candle makers don't notice the smell because it blends in well for that, but it's prominent when your spraying it with ethanol.

However, I know that most of these FO's are made for soap and candle making predominantly so I'm not too upset about it. Real perfuming is hard and I was just experimenting with premade FO's.

Have you found the best company to order fragrance oils from for your perfumes? I have been trying hard to find some as I am also a hobbiest, blender just for myself as of now.Have any favorite pumpkins or marshmallow fragrance oils?
