Well that is it for me too. Is the one time I can get away with the girls and have some fun! Me too, totally! My sister flies from Toronto, Canada and we do this, usually, once every year. Great sister time

I think I will be bringing my daughter with me so it should be fun!

From what I know, the cancellation date is not till May 6th, 2007 (which is tomorrow). I read on her Blog that there are a lot of people waiting to see what happens and they actually may be the ones that will bring it over the top so that the conference will be a go. In any case, I registered so that I know for sure I am going and if it gets cancelled, then they will just reverse the charges. I have met Brenda a few times since I went to the Chicago conferences a number of times and she is an honest person. I just hope that the people, who are holding off, actually sign up or if the 150 min is not met, then it is not a go. I love going to Chicago and these conferences end up being a blast, so I really hope the people who are holding off, go sign up. They have nothing to lose!! I rarely get to go to these things since I have very young children, so I really hope this is a go. It is a weekend away to meet people we have not met face to face and it is just plain fun! A time for us soapers and candlemakers to get together and just let go and have fun!!

I don't believe the curriculum is complete yet. I believe they are still working on getting more demo's and speakers.

Who is going??? I so hope that will not be cancelled! It appears that they need a few more people to reach the minimum of 150 attendees. Anyone here going?

I LOVE ASS (aka Scents for Soy)'s Salty Sea Air. She is selling her formula's so hopefully someone will pick them up, but for the time being, doesn anyone know of someone else that has this same scent? HALP! TIA!

LaVida, what a great trip it was to go from picture to picture!!! That is just wonderful! Some questions. How easy/hard is it to scent (after liquid soap is made) and is there a smell to the end soap? I have tried a few different all natural liquid soap bases and they have this funky smell that is hard to cover, is this what happens when you make liquid soap? Would love to know.

Can someone suggest a Love Spell that throws in a 50/50 Para/Soy Blend? I realize I have to test, but I would like to know if there are a few different companies that I could sample that would help me a lot! Any ideas?

Michelle, a wee bit Castor in there will help with shine and moisturizing too One thing with Shea butter, for some reason I wasn't able to know whether I would have a grainy lip balm or not, sometimes they would go grainy, others times, not. So, if you find you have that problem too, try this upping your Cocoa Butter and adding some Castor Oil. It is excellent in lip balms!

SS, have you thought of plugging in your formula into www.soapcalc.com, this way, you can try to keep the same properties but play with the numbers to get a less expensive bar of soap? That site is a WEALTH of information!

Hi E!!! Long time no see! Thank you for the welcome and I sure home someone else has soaped Very Sexy! You know, I test SO dang many scents I think I might just test the other two and then give you guys the reviews. Should I post my soap pictures with results here? Are there a lot of soapers here that would find the info helpful? Oh and I am happy you enjoyed the sugar scrub and conditioner! E, question. Do you have any other NG recommendations for CP soap?
