Absolutely wonderful! I am so happy for you!

Hello everyone!! Long time huh?! Finally got things back on track, but in my downtime, my chosen name has been registered by someone else. So here are my new thoughts. I have to come up with something fast. Here you go...
Southside Scents (There is a district downtown Chattanooga called The Southside. It's supposed to be considered swanky:rolleyes2 )
The Pink Pantry (I just love pink, it's my sig. color)
Kayes Kandles (My middle name is Kaye)
That's all I got. Help me out girls! How are you all???

I like it! Classic!

Right now I'm using the 8oz square mason, so I label the lid, but am going to start using the 9 oz bulb jar. It's so pretty and I'll be darned if I can figure out how to label it. I'm thinking of hang tags, but they can be taken off and lost.if any besides me hates putting labels on their candles? I hate covering up my products with labels! -
KuOz, Don't know what it means, but I like it.

Mindy, is this the dirty guy store vs. the Baptist tart?My mom knows, lol. She thinks it's disgusting but I think $$$$$. Yesterday, I just dropped off some candles and he was rambling off some names and I think my face was beat red when he was done. He also showed me where he was going to put them, he has cleaned off a shelf by some unique items.Mindy

I'll take that "Sugar Daddy" with the "8 inches", "One night stand" in the "Back seat of my car"
PS-Are these results guaranteed??

D) All of the above!
Call the supplier.

You always make me giggleThose are pretty clever. When I was trying to come up with a good name for a candle company, I was goofing around and though of "Trailer Park" candles. Some FOs would have been Biscuits 'n Gravy, Dirty Laundry, Wet Dog, Pull My Finger, etc.

"Majestic Memories"
I'm not to good at this.

I don't have pics, Im asking for pictures. LOL!I can't see your pics. -
I'm going to try this jar, but can't picture how to label them. Use labels? Tags? Clear or kraft labels? Anyone use these and have pictures of your products? TIA:grin2: Jenn

I have one scent "Sex on the Beach" that the little ol' ladies in my office LOVE! I think they buy it for the name, because they blush when paying me. It's probably there "Risky" side.lmfao! Sad thing is some of us have had the "same" idea but just wouldn't dare put it out on our shelves! Guess we should stop thinking and just go for it! LOL -
:shocked2: That's what I was thinking. I bet the "Whore" scented one is a best seller for the adulters' out there.:tiptoe:Besides the names did you look at the rest of the site? They have a 15oz 3 wick candle for $125.00
IMO - I think 3 wicks in that container would be to hot towards the bottom.
-
I agree, If I was passing through, I would def. stop and buy. And of course, smell EVERYTHING!!!

Have you been peaking in my window?? LMAO, these are my exact steps!Well, I have only one. What I do is let the wax set up, then heat it just a bit to separate it (if you can spin it its good to go), turn it off, then just poke something in the surface (be careful) and lift the whole cylinder of wax out and wrap in wax paper (mark what it is) for later use. Wipe out residue with a paper towel. If its just a bit I'll pour votives or something with it.
(This what you mean?)

I don't like pastels either, but I'm diggin those!
-
I'll take two.
-
I like this one! Can I have it, pretty please?Since we're talking "rustic" looks, I'm well aware a plain tumbler doesn't quite fit the bill. I think the mottled wax looks very much at home in pottery, don't you? I really like this even though you can't see the sides.OK that's the last one.

A logo? I have chosen a name, FINALLY!!! But have chosen not to have a particular LOGO or image. However, I ordered some business cards from Vistaprint and chose one with the cutest hanging monkey, nothing to do with candles or my name, but it caught my eye out of the 300+ images. They say go with your first instinct, but what do you think?

That's why I figured candle making is right up my alley, I am always in a dazed and confused state of mind.
-
Okay, so you single wick? May i ask, what wax you use?I use the 9 oz. bulb jars and the height is 3" without the lid and the diameter is 3 7/8". So I bet the 10 is closer...lol. Hope this helps.I also use the eco 12 for this jar. Hope this helps too!

I get that look when I don't warm my jars. I like it too, if it's consistant. Funny thing is, most pull their hair out to avoid that look. Some say Potato, I say tater.

First: Please forgive me, I can't get into my search results, I think I just need to go home.
Okay. I've been trying the 444. I like it...BUT...It has ugly tops, it changes colors after burning and the wet spots are giving me a tick. HOWEVER, it has awsome cold and hot throw.
Now...I have discovered IGI 6006 at a local supplier. It's more $$, but I would save on shipping. Any thoughts on one vs. the other?
Also, it seems that I'm having to wick up with the 444.
(Using 8 oz. mason's and 6 oz victorian's) Thanks everyone!
