Oh great! I was wondering about those scents....now I am going to have to order them : )

I use JS Ultimate Vanilla and I really like it. I don't smell a fuel or funky smell, but it does have something besides just sweet vanilla. I am not sure what it is, but I like it. It really has been a big seller for me. I have used it in B & B applications also with success. I don't know what the difference might be there. Wish I had more information for you Sabrina.

I know that Peak's Sweet Pumpkin Spice throws great in all of my waxes. I also use their UV inhib too.

Yep, you are supposed to cut them down. I believe that the lids fit a couple of size bottles, so you cut them down for the smaller bottle. That is what I do anyway.

I just wanted to also give a thumbs up for their Sunwashed Linen. It kicks in both my parasoy and 4794.

She must really have an issue with the board that you are a mod of. Maybe she thinks that you are ordering to check her stuff out and bash it. But, if she is selling quality stuff, then she shouldn't worry about. Plus, people will bash you if they want too, whether it was true or not. I am surprised that she wouldn't let you order, especially if were not part of whatever problem she had with the board owner.

I don't think I can make candles anymore without one...LOL. I have a Milwaukee that I got for Mother's Day a few years back. I clean my molds, essential for cleaning my pour pots and heat jars to bring them to room temperature, etc. I can't make candles without paper towels either...LOL

I really would like to have one for the holidays. Gold Canyon has a pretty nice one, but I can't seem to find that combination. I have tried CC ice crystals, Peak's peppermint patty, and a couple from Just Scents.

I say "yes" that containers can have as good of throw as the melts. I make both and I burn melts more often than the containers, but I sell way more containers. I think that melts then to start throwing scent faster than the containers, at least it seems that way to me.

Angelam, you are not an idiot and it was not a stupid question. That is what the board is for is to ask questions. Votive and tart wax are generally interchangeable. Pillar wax can be used for tarts also, but some pillar wax cannot hold as much FO as other waxes. So, if you are not getting as much throw as you want in your tarts, that could be it. I use a different wax for my pillars than I do for my votives and tarts, just personal preference.

That does sound promising. If might want to give her a candle when you get a new batch made. That might be a good way to make another contact with her.

Got to second the Grapefruit Watermelon, really great throw, awesome in candle and B & B. The Indy Teak is also a keeper!

Spent shot gun shell smell....well I do live in Alaska....LOL.

Save on Scents has it too, but I have not tried it so cannot recommend it with any accuracy.
