Ok thanks! And I cure any wax I use at least 7 days or longer just to be sure! I’ll try 190! I’m testing zinc and premiere wicks this week! So far HTp is the only wick that gave me good hot throw in any wax! But now idk where to get them from! I hear they are switching them up! But thanks for the advice!!

190 isn’t too high?? I add between 185-175 and try to pour at 165-160! I’ve gotten good hot throw in 2 scents!

Which wicks work best in this wax? Also igi6006? So far HTp or zinc for me but still not getting a good hot throw on some scents! I’ve tried eco rrd lx and cd and no hot throw from those

So is adding FO at 180-175 too low?? Also what temp should I pour? And what wicks work best? I’m testing zinc rrd and premiere now! So far I like zinc! I use 22oz libbey cube 14 oz libbey cube and 7.25 oz libbey cube I also want to try wooden wicks! Just looking for a starting point with these wixks! I use 4 in 22oz and 2 in 14 oz and I’m testing 1 and 2 and small wood in 7.25 oz!! Any help is greatly appreciated! As I’ve done spent almost $800 on everything and only have 3 successful candles lol! But I really enjoy it as a hobby I love it! Just started in October!

Hi I know this is old post but I just came across it and I’ve tried all the same waxes! Did you figure out if you should use additives in 4630? I like that one the best ans 6006 but some scents are not strong at all no hot throw

Thank you! I’m trying to get the wax with the best hot throw and I know my scents already Butt naked, bird of paradise, amber romance and Creme brûlée! I think I’m really just having wick problems because candles gibe a good cold throw I’ve only used 6006 and 4630 so far!! Have pro blend 600 on the way! I’m waiting on wicks to come In to try them but all the ones I’ve tried so far have very little hot throw and some none and I’ve used all the HTp cd eco and Lx wicks with different amounts of FO 7-11%! I need help or something!!

Hi so I’m new to all this candle making! I sell candles for a lady and they smell so good but she will not tell me how to make them so I’ve started experiencing on my own! I have 6006 and 4630 and parasoy 600 on the way! I use 14oz cube glass 7.25oz cube and 22 oz cube jars mostly! But I’m looking for suggestions on wicks for these waxes! I’m wanting a really good strong hot throw! I’ve tried a few HTp and cds and LXs and I can’t figure it out! I’m waiting on premier wicks to come in and wooden! Any suggestions foe the 4630 would be great because it gives the strongest hot throw so far!! And parasoy 600 wick suggestions! Diameters of containers are 3inch to 4inch! I’ve tried 7-11% fragrance oil and letting them cure for a week! And still no hot throw on most! I heat to 200 add FO around 170-160 and pour between 165-155! I need help with wicks and what size wicks to use apparently can’t go by any charts on websites!! And I’m running low on funds!!

I’m trying to figure out who to buy from wholesale? Is lone star good scents and strong or is there something better??
