This looks like smelly jelly crystals that they have some how found a solution to disolve when you are thru. Just another gimmic.:rolleyes2 Wonder how it is selling?

My sister helps me at one of my shows that is near her town. I just give her goodies that no one else can get from me. Special request stuff.

I would be afraid to have something that might be placed low to the ground by an uninformed customer. I can see dog tails, cat tails, and kids fingers in the warm wax. Not a good idea IMO:confused:

Was that the silicone ones? If so, I just blew $20 on ordering from Target!

I did see the metal ones at the Dollar Tree also but I wanted silicone.

Yes, They were the mini loaf pans and were silicone. Lime green. Work great!

Yes DH uses a brush.

I've just recently started playing with shaving soap. I used Rhassouli clay and added 3% liquid silk, 2 TBL Castor Oil to the M&P base.

DH has a very course & thick beard and he is pleased with it, plus it did a great job on my legs . (a quality razor helps too) I haven't tried any of the other clays yet.

I found the mini loaf pans at Dollar Tree! They are a lime green color and hanging on an end-cap not on a shelf.

Bentonite and Kaolin white clay are known for there "slip" and good

for shaving soaps.

I know that there are many clays but would like to know what would be best to add to DH's shaving soap for better slip. I have tried a ton of different soap combos and he is still complaing that they drag while shaving. FYI, the bases I use are all from Sfic. I have about given up and am ready to :tiptoe: off to the store and buy him some shaving soap!

I can not believe I waited until the last minute to do this but I really need to know if the ingredients for All the sfic M&P's are the same? I emailed them a while back about the bases and only got one ingredient list. Does anyone have the ingredient list for the Goat's Milk M&P? I could really use it tonight:undecided

• Aloe Soap Base contains 5% Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Gel Concentrate.

You need to be very careful aiming the heat gun directly on the glass! If your only doing one candle you may just want to blow it lightly in the jars to warm it. if your doing more than one I would use the oven on the lowest setting. I never heat my containers. Sometimes I need to hit the tops real quick with the gun but that is all. HTH

I have a store bought one my neighbor bought me as a gift. The throw is wonderful! I did not think I would like it but it is strong in my bathroom. I have read a lot about them and the secret seems to be to get the FO to travel up the reeds after the FO is "cut". People have tried cutting FO with DPG and different oils. I use 20 Mule Team Borax instead of Baking Soda. The granules are not as small and don't sift under the carpet and into the pad as easily. JMO

I have also used scented corn cob in the vac bag. Cheaper than the Aroma Beads.

I always make them super strong and use about a teaspoon of beads per bag. HTH

You might also look for a spot to place a cotton ball with a drop of FO on it. Mine had a lid I could lift off and just set the cotton ball on the top of it. If the FO ever did discolor it, I never noticed as it was on the inside of the lid.

Evaporated Condensed Milk and Sweetened Condensed Milk are not the same. The sweetened version is most likely Eagle Brand Milk and used in baking and such. EC Milk can be any number of brands.

When I had a bagless I would just put a drop of FO on the outside filter. Being careful not to get it on the plastic, of course.

Reading this I must jump in here and add:

You can NOT use a vacuum freshener if the Vacuum is one that does not use bags. The clear tunnel, cyclone type vac's can be affected by the FO's. I would be very careful to whom I sold the freshners to for this reason.

I make my own and use corn cob soaked in FO. Not sloppy wet though. I make it in a jar and let ALL the FO soak up in the corn cob. This is a great way to use up the FO's that don't throw like you would want. HTH

I can't see it either. Now I am dying of curiosity;)

For my winter shows I make something called "Magic drip tapers". I dye the wick, dip the taper enough times that I know the taper will drip. Due to the dye on the wick, it makes the drips the color of the dyed wick even though the wax itself is pure white.

These sell very well for me, and people seem to love them.

What a neat idea!

Some place around here I have the recipe for soaking wicks in different minerals to get different colors. Some of the ingredients sounded a little "iffy".

Family has this weird thing about someone they know trying new stuff. They give you the "evil eye" like, "Only big company's can make that. You can't make lotion at home"! If they only knew the stuff those companies crammed into the bottles and passed off as good for you!
