They were selling something like that on one of the TV shopping shows. I thought they were very cool. They made them out of some sort of a stretchy cord but the gals foot was so big too much of the cord showed:confused:. Your looks much better than theirs!

Double boilers are the easiest way to get the wax out of the jars. Don't get wax into your drains though. Unless you are a plumber!

I love Barkeepers helper to remove rust. I used it on a few molds that were given to me rusty.

I am afraid that happens to the best of us. There are times when I have serious "Candle nose" and wonder what all the others see in a scent that I am not seeing. It may just be time to sit back and take a break from candles and see if things improve.

I find that people will choose to smell the ones with the funny names first. Monkey Farts , Sex on the Beach and Butt Naked.

I did see where WSP has them. Right now they are out of stock but has anyone tried them? The price for the wicks are really high. It would cost a small fortune to just test them!

I test 24 -48 hours after pouring. I can not let candles sit and cure for weeks/months on end.

To cure and candle it should have a tight fitting lid and just be allowed to rest like fine wine. JMO:grin2:

I made a Christmas scent that would not throw after weeks of curing. I stuck them in a box and forgot about them 2 years ago. This Christmas I dug them out and burned them. They were so strong they almost drove me out of the house!

I think I will set the label up, type in the info that I have, and wait until I hear from SFIC to make sure that I am accurate. I was hoping someone here that has worked with these bases had gotten the info from SFIC so that I could finalize this project. I'm bad about waiting until weekends to work on stuff like this.
