    Daughter just came home from the mall and told me to feel her hands!! She had been to the BBW store and had them demonstrate the new manicure in a minute.....any ideas on what is in it that makes it so good?? Her hands really felt nice!

    Thanks for the input - I am using the French Vanilla & Amber - they loved that one. I am going to try Hippie Christmas and Instant Karma. The Mary Jane I can't do - too many people around her know I teach Kindergarten and it could cause problems!!! Thanks again for all of the help!!

    The retailers in our little town have a ladies night out every Thursday. They have called a theme for one of the nights coming up "Peace night" celebrating the 50th anniversary of the peace sign. They are going with a hippie theme. Several of the stores have called me to put together a fragrance line for the night. No patchoulli or sandalwood. I need other ideas for this., I have read that frangapanni would be good but what else..............

    We recently contemplated that, too. We changed everything to Periwinkle Lane - we have 3 branches of that - Bath House on Peiwinkle Lane, Periwinkle Lane Candle Company and the Artful Moniker of Periwinkle Lane. Our new logo is an old building with 3 storefronts - pretty cool and it shows the difference things we do........it is just fun!! It was a real PITA changing all of the labels!!! Suzie

    Personally, I was afraid of the lawsuit thing. I scares me! People will find any reason to sue you. I just don't want to open myself up to that. Maybe I'll have to pass on the martint/champagne galss and tell her a heart dish is just as pretty!! I appreciate all of the help! Suzie

    Ok, where is a good starting point with this? One of my wholesale accounts thinks this will be a great idea for Valentine's Day. I will be using 223and the glasses are about 4" across. Im thinking about a double wick.............. HELP!! Suzie

    I, too, received this as a free sample. I have sold all of the candles I made so far and have a waiting list for more. I had too order another bottle! One of the candles I sold was a wickless to a teacher in my school - she had it on her warmer and as I was walking down the hall I could smell her room all the way at the other end of the hallway - What a throw! I gave one to a wholesale account that is a boutique and she has a waiting list for orders! It is a KEEPER for sure!! Suzie

    I'm not sure if this has been asked before.......Why would you wash your M&P soap in salt water and let dry? Martha Stewart had a show on, and during this show she made a M&P soap, washed it in salt water, let dry, rinsed and it was ready to go. She wrapped it in unbleached parchment but did not wrap it in anything else. Will the salt water bath keep it from sweating? Suzie

    Yes, it is the Our Own Candle Company that sells them. I think they are intended to be removed from the plastic before burning. However, I think you are right it is unsafe. If someone does not follow instructions......... I guess I'll just keep on the way I have been!!! Suzie

    This has probably been covered somewhere.....I was at the store the other day and they were selling votives poured and sold in little plastic containers. They had lids with several "sniff" holes in the top. It looks as if they poured them, wicked them capped them off labeled them then sold them all in one little container. Does anyone know where they might sell these????? Suzie

    Looks like WSP has stopped carrying the 82mm twist lids. I just ordered 300 of the 6 oz tureen jars looking at their delivery date of the lids at 12/15. Then they marked them sold out and stopped carrying them ......I need to find a new supplier. Does anyone have any ideas? Suzie

    Terrifying thought. I remember the Tampon thing. My wholesale account lady ordered it from the Jelly Bath company this afternoon and she has already sold 2 before they have even come in. She is an upscale boutique in town - evidentally this is the stuff that is used in local spas............hope they know what they are getting themselves into!!!!!! Suzie
