I think they are the 2x3 size, namebadge labels. That's what I used when I was making clamshells.

I have been using tallow to make my soap for a while and of course there is no place locally I can get some so I went to the wholesale meat co. where my uncle is a butcher today and got 10 pounds of suet to make my own tallow. At $0.39 a pound I figured its worth a try, plus it's already ground up. My dogs were lovin me when I came in with a 10 pound bag of beef suet! Anyone else ever rendered their own tallow? That is going to be my saturday project. I really hope my house doesn't end up smelling nasty Wish me luck!

I use FBB as the sugar scrub and just thinned out with some aloe juice, fo and some vitamin E oil for a creme soap. It's great for shaving! I bought 25 pounds in the last co-op Heather did and I haven't regretted it!

You don't really need to cure the HP soap. I always cut mine and then set it out for about 3-4 days though to get it dried out completely before wrapping. Follow the tutorial on here for HP soap. Depending on what oils you are using it make take longer (or less time) to reach the steps shown there though. Your recipe should still work the same.

I used the multi-base from save on scents for a while. I liked it fine, it takes a lot of mixing to get the lotion totally mixed into the water, but that was before I had a handmixer to use too. I'm not sure how much you would need for a gallon of lotion since you can mix it to be thick or thinner to your preference. A 1 lb. tub made 4 pounds of lotion for me. It took the FO well and didn't separate. I don't color my lotions so I don't know about the dye.

Yes, the mold has to be lined. The title No Liner Soap Molds and Cutters is actually the name of their store. They have other molds that do not require a liner.

Just to let ya'll know I have ordered from them and a lot of their popular stuff sells out fast and is usually out of stock for awhile, sometimes a few months at a time, so if they're in stock grab 'em! I went to get scruffy bears this spring and they were out for 2-3 weeks. They had some real cuties in the new catalog.

The wooden bookcases that fold flat are on sale for $15 each at Family Dollar if any of you have one near you. They are the 3-shelf ones, not sure exactly how high they are, probably 36". I just looked in the newspaper flier and saw them so thought I would let ya'll know!

I have a rate table based on weight that is loosely based on the priority mail scale. However, I use flat rate or fedex most of the time because they are cheapest.

You could get the fresh cut grass and dirt fo and maybe mix in a little of some sort of ozone like fresh breeze type fo, although that would probably smell bad all mixed up. Maybe you could ask them what specifically about the farm they are looking for, the fresh air, flowers/veggies, fresh tilled earth or new mown hay. You could also go with a leather for horse people. I live on a farm and there are a lot of scents I certainly wouldn't want to smell in a candle.

I use tarts for my samples. I wrap and label them like normal and carry them in the clear plastic craft boxes (also fishing tackle boxes). I can 20 or so in a box.

I prefer the look of short and fat, mainly because I find those easier to get the product out of.

Today was the candle day! I ended up with 2 lotions left, I sold all of the lotions that I made last night today. Sold all of my shea butter and everything else in honeycocomango scent from BCN, only sold 1 christmas scent, go figure. Sold lots of candy corn candles though! I also sold all but 4 lip balms. This was the first year I took injected bears and I sold 4 of them, so I was happy with that. I ended up doing over $500, and considering this is a 2-day show at the hospital I work at I think that was great! Booth fee was only $35 for 2 days! I am so excited. This is the best I have ever done at that particular show!

Some of you may remember that last week my plumber bought all of my soap that I had made. So I whipped up three batches for my show this week. This is the first time I have ever had the soaps in my shows and I sold all of them by 11:30 a.m.!!!!! I cannot believe it...I also sold out of all but 3 bottles of lotion, so I whipped up a little batch tonight so I'll have some for tomorrow. I am the only person with B&B stuff and htat makes a huge difference! So far today I did about 4 times booth fee!

In most formal letters you type the business name once at the beginning and then use we, etc. thereafter. You can also try changing your sentences around so that you don't have to use we so much.
