  1. I think that if you put them out there the way they come in the box , yes they would have a problem with it, But if they dont have a problem with silk flowers and such. And you are scenting them then I wouldnt think they would, Maybe janet would jump in here , she had a similar situation with hers. HTH Paula
  2. Very Nice!!!! Arent you glad you got yours before I started setting fires? Paula
  3. How about getting a drop on the floor , not realizing it , till you stepped in it and walked all around the kitchen , putting red dots on the floor from your foot. LOL Paula
  4. Ya know when i was a newbie at this , I would have thought about that, Guess things like this happen once in a while to give you a wake up call and out of doing things routine Paula :embarasse
  5. Same wick + different Supplier = Slightly differnt burn - Correct ? I think , no i already know the answer. Could kick myself in the butt. But want to confirm. After doing this for 4+ years I should know better. Oh well guess we all make a mistake or two huh? Let me have it LOL Paula
  6. heres a one for a sample, dont know that i wouldnt like it better if the shell was dark green
  7. I think you did an awesome job, I love playing with the roses, so much you can do Paula
  8. Yes it is ! But I look at it this way, you make your money back for the price of them mold with the first 3-4 sales, it will last alot longer then that. but thats IMO Paula
  9. I found it LOL Guess the neighbors windows are safe for now lol Paula
  10. Thats exactly how they work. Mine that i have made give off awesome scent throw. I made one about 2 years ago. Talked to the customer the other day and he said it still smells. I couldnt beleive it, not sure i do but all that matters is he does lol. Paula
  11. they are the fiberglass screen, I never tried the steel/metal. I just use my arcrylic craft paints. then spray them with a clear sealant. I am trying to find the racoons i did this summer. It was on the window last time I looked. lol maybe i should look at my neighbors windows more often lol !!!!! If you can paint you can do the screens the neat thing is , that the paint doesnt clog the holes so the screen is still functionable. When the sunshines on them they look solid, you cant see in the house. at night you can but not if the sun is on them. I love doing them, This summer my sliding door is going to be the project to do. HTH Paula
  12. Janet from http://www.creativegemsmolds.com/store/ makes the mold for the basket. It comes with a hole maker, you insert and electric cord, with a silicone bulb, set it on a plate of some sort, and surround with wooden roses and baby's breathe. The heat from the bulb warms the wax just enough to set off the scent. HTH Paula
  13. Told you I wanted to be just like Janet. I love this mold, My brain hurts from thinking of so many ideas I am going to do with this one. It wonderful!! Janet, Thank you again !!!!! Paula

  15. I fixed it , lol , dont know what i did wrong the first time Thank you Paula PS Thanks for the molds Janet, Having them makes these so much more fun !

  17. I can't count the number of people that say " Oh these are the candles that I can rub on my skin" I always reply. Not mine you cant. If you want softer skin i will sell you something that is skin safe. But not all candle coloring is safe for the skin nor is all the scents safe for skin. I guess I could sell them that way but I really dont feel like walking around with "lawsuit" tatooed to my forehead. Paula
  18. Janet you ROCK!!! When I grow up I wanna be you !!! lol As far as the light and FO's making the glue loose. I took one rose 2 weeks ago. Meant to put a drop of oil on it, well it spewed all over it.even the leaves were scented at that point. I gave it to my daughter, I have her shake it and smell it everyday and so far nothing has happened to it. Also I tried to take one apart. thought the petals would just come off. Nope the wood ripped where the it was glue. They are tougher then you think imo. Paula
