Omgosh. Some people have alot of nerve....or is it, some twits have a little too much ambition.

With out customers there would be no business. So one would think that business's would do alot better on the customer relations end.

I tried the binder ones once and they weren't tight enough. Mold leaked like crazy. I have used metal tape and that worked rather well but it left my mold all sticky.

Thats a good idea. No if I can just get my dh to make me some.

I use paper core wicks on 99% of my candles.

Great job on the embeds. Have you thought about applying them on all sides?

I ordered all my fall Fo's in July..some of those like candy corn where on back order at the time so I didn't even get some of em till last week. For winter I'm gonna order next week. I really have no idea how to guess at what my sales are gonna be for the holidays. I always buy more than and I need.

Well Darnit! I tried again last night to get the same effect, no luck. I guess it was a once in life time thing. Glad I took a pic when I did..I sold it last night.

If you did post em on the old ct I must have missed em. I would have remebered those. They are spectacular.

Good idea on the mixing of the gingerbread. It does need something to give it kick. They look great!

Really nice look. I had a red one come out something like that when I put my mold in the freezer for quite awhile. Could never get it to work again either.:rolleyes2
The only thing I think happened was that I mixed my fo into the pot when the wax was cooler than normal. I added fo at 150 and stirred like crazy hoping it would all mix in then I poured it and forgot about it. It sat on my counter for 2 days before I umolded it. Its not oily or anything and the texture is rather different. It almost has a glittery look to it.

I've been making candles for 9 years and have never had this happen. I have white curtains in my candle making room and the only thing on those is dust.:rolleyes2 I don't have a furnace I have centeral heating and cooling but my mother does and she has black stuff on her registers that she said comes from the furnace. But that is the only place she or I have ever seen it.
I don't believe its the candle making.
