  1. I think it's very wrong of you to post a "beware" when you obviously just got carried away with what you wanted the listing to mean. It was very clear when I first looked at the ebay listing and was glad to see everyone here felt the same. I wouldn't deal with you, either, and would have cancelled the order, as well.

  2. I agree with moon. I visited your site and it looks like a fire hazard in so many ways. I make candles and safety is of utmost importance to me. I don't mean to hurt your feelings...it's just something to think about should someone take this idea and implement it in their own home, then walk away.

  3. What's even more surprising than a company that puts glue dots in a kit is a company that sends you an email showing you their new candle making videos and one of them tells you to pour the wax in the jar first and then put the wick in....I'm still flabbergasted...and this is from a major supplier. I've also seen instructions from a "reputable" company telling you to pour wax into a votive holder and then when it starts to firm up, stick in a piece of wick...no base, just wicking.

  4. I was roaming around here and don't remember who posted this, but they said that certain fragrances like bakery and vanilla change after being in the clamshell for a while. I've never seen anything posted like this before. I'm just going to start making clamshells and wonder if it's a problem for anyone else.

  5. I left two entirely different burners on all night and checked the temp of both this morning. I was shocked to see they were both close to 200 degrees. In the past I've tested the temp by just putting the tip of my instant read thermometer in the wax and gotten a reading of 135-140. Knowing now that I have to immerse it more, I laid it flat in the wax and got the 200. These are 24 watt burners. I'm wondering if you guys are getting temps like this.
