I want a 12 bar mold if I can find one!
-
I am looking for a new mold. I want one that divides the bars for me. WHat is your favorite mold for CP?

If you make votives already, try what you normally use.
On the other, try out flat braids, between 24 and 30, or some square braid (you'll have to play with the sizes) or LX.
Depends on if you use FO too. b
I have some square braid and some flat braid I will try for the pillar then and I use CD wicks in my votives.
-
I guess that would help huh? I was thinking votives and 3 inch diameter pillars.
-
Goo gone will take the dye off as well.
-
I have a slab I bought to try but never did and now I am back at candle making and want to try some pillars with this. Can someone give me some guidance as to where to start with the wicking?

I dont' see alot of candles being sold on Hyena Cart and wondered if any of you were vendors there?
I have my own shop there but sell items I sew and dye. not candles and soap (well occasionally some of my personal overflow, but nothing regular).
It is $5 a month for a cart ao really quite reasonable.
-
Do any of you sell via Hyena Cart ? It is the easiest to set up.

I have had to ban a few from purchasing from me. Two were in the PITA category and also earned a place in the scammer category.

I feel so silly for "believing the lie" all these years.....lol.....

I "heard" something else: that the reason it doesn't burn the eyes has to do with the pH. If it is pH neutral it wont' burn? Does that make any sense?

unfortunately I do not have any of what you are looking for but I did notice you said Sissys Sugar Cookies BCS used to to carry? they still carry this as it is still on their site.......???
I saw that it was still available but was hoping to pick some up here. I have a customer wanting those three scents and that means 3 different suppliers...three different shipping charges and I am NOT doing that. Forget it.
Candlewic got all nasty with me when I complained about their minimum order and horrendous shipping charges. I won't be ordering from them no matter how much this customer wants it.
-
And I posted in the classifieds but I thought maybe you guys had some you were willing to sacrifice to the candle gods.
Aroma Haven (used to be Longwycks) Lemon Meringue Pie
Candlewic's Blueberry Muffin
Sissie's Sugar Cookie (used to be available at Bittercreek South)
Thank you in advance!

Is a wick with out a tab safe?
I wick mine like you do but with a tab on the wick. The tab in concealed inside the candle.
-
Thanks Carrie..wanna sell me a slab to try?

Remember when ........
j50 was a good wax?
Is there anything out there now that is comparable?

Has anyone done this?
I use wool diaper covers and want to make a bar that I can wash my wool with. I want it to be in bar form to scrub out the poo stains..lol.
ANyone done this? or know how? I know it has to have a large portion of lanolin.
-
Which do you like better?
I am looking to buy both is anyone has any extra. I already posted in Classies but in case anyone is "on the wagon" and avoiding the classies as a new years resolution, I wanted to ask here as well!:rolleyes2

What happened to your website?

I know it varies by area of the country and season for sure. Here is what everyone in my area seems to like for Fall and Winter Fund Raisers:
Hot Apple Pie
Cinnamon and Cinnamon Bun
Pumpkin Spice
Vanilla (always popular)
For Spring:
Lilac
Strawberry Jam

Cotton cores burn the hottest in my opinion. I use CD's.

Is there a way to do this is reverse...choose the properties you want then have the soap calc tell you what oils to use?
