I am seeing all kinds of different flowers and leaves on the hurricanes. Are all of these real pressed dried flowers or some other kind of flowers? I'm getting my pillar blend next week and I really want to try one but want to know if I can only use dried real flowers. TIA:confused:

This pic didn't come out very clear and my camera kind of sucks it's an old one. Hopefully, you can tell enough from it to give me any criticisms feedback on it. I had left the old wax in the mold so it came out with little specks of peach color around it. It's scented Peach Mango Needs a little smoothing on the top. Thanks for looking.

When adding fo the wax i use it says add up to 2 ounces pp of wax. Is this the measurement of the flakes or the liquid wax itself? :embarasse

How much water would you add to a pound of soap shreds? The person I got mine from said to use 2 tbsps. but it just seemed to stiff. How would I determine if it needs more water?

The jojoba beads are used in scrubs, shower gels, soaps as an exfoliate. For shower gels it says to use 2-4 tbsps. per gallon or 1/4 -1/2 tsp. per pound of soap. So a little bit of them will go a long way.
As for the bath bomb base you should be able to do a search for bath bomb recipes and use the liquid amounts that are listed I would think. HTH

I need help please. I bought stearic acid and a pillar mold to make my first pillar candle. From my understanding the stearic is needed to make the soy thicker. I read on another forum that the stearic acid added to this will work to make votives but not pillars that I need a soy/pillar blend.
My question is will just the stearic work for my pillars? If not what do I need to add to make this a soy/pillar blend? I have beeswax pellets and candelila wax.
I did go ahead and make the pillar with just the stearic I turned out really nice and the cold throw is wonderful. My little cubicle smells strongly of Peach/Mango lol
Please help!!!!!

Ok I know that you can add stearic acid to soy to make it not so soft and can use it for votives. I am wanting to know if there is a way that I can make all of these soy wax flakes that I have (20 plus pounds) into a wax useable for pillars.
