Depends on the FO.
some are ready a week later, some vastly improve 2 plus weeks even 1 month later. If you mix this wax with 464 which I do as well, the same cure time applies.
There are a few FOs that are stronger like lemon verbena that I can light 3 days later and have a great HT BUT, I feel the wax needs to cure and testing your wick later rather than to soon can be a benefit. If we test to soon the results may not be accurate.🌸
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing! How long do you usually cure your candles with this wax?

I don't make candles I just make melts. But people are asking for soy. So now I'm trying to figure out what soy wax to get lol they also want it's soft. I used to make the 464 in the cups. Then you just use a silicone cupcake liner and it's not a mess but you can't ship it like that in the heat. I also hate waiting that long for things to cure but I don't know what to do.
Did you use 464 for wax melts? Often, I ask myself why I am not making more melts instead of candles...darn wicks...

I just saw these red ones tiny ones on an Instagram ad a few days ago. I have no experience from ordering from this company.

Blood Orange from CS smells amazing! I used it in my orange cold process soap and it was super strong then faded to almost nothing. I realize CP soap and candle making are completely different, but will admit that I am interested in hearing if you have any fading issues.

Fancy oils with short shelf lives don’t usually offer much in soap other than maybe label appeal. Many short life oils are quite DOS prone oils which is a total a headache in soap.
Good to know! I haven't really branched out too much beyond what I can get at my local grocery store.

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone uses apricot kernel oil in their soaps and would be willing to share their thoughts on it. I just really love apricots-ha!
Thanks!

This is so fascinating. I have never heard about this! I am totally trying this out on a small batch!

Add your oil with the highest melt point first then others one at a time.
Ugh, Illinois has been a bit of a roller coaster ride lately. Two weeks ago we wore sweatshirts at my son's baseball game, now we are worried about heatstroke.

I am attempting to try out some fragrance oil blending. Do you have any suggestions on how to start? Should I try small melts or just jump right in with a candle? Step one is just figuring out if I like the scent, then I will master the wicking process. Many thanks!

I have two pounds of Red Currant and I am just not a fan. It reminds me of shampoo, but I have no idea why. This is a long shot, but does anyone have any experience blending this fragrance and would be willing to share their experience? I just hate looking those unused bottles.

I bought a case of status jars, because I just love the look of them. I was super disappointed when I noticed that the jars were all molded wonky. The inside bottom of the jars were slightly at an angle and I just couldn't get past it. I love the cute lids that work with them!

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had luck combining Nature Wax C-6 coconut wax and Golden 464. I happen to have both of these waxes on hand, but I thought I might gather a little information before I start experimenting. I tried using C-6 on its own and was very perplexed by it-could have been the wicks. What's a good ratio of 464/c-6 to start with? Do you have any thoughts on wicks? I was hoping to improve the hot throw with 464 by using the coconut wax.
Many thanks!

Every time you use that FO you'll think of our friend Trappeur!
I will! Sorry about your friend. Although I only knew her through words, but she was such an sweet inspiration.

Although they smell identical the throw from WSP is so great unlike other suppliers carrying the same thing.
I did go and order a pound of FR bud....just to have on hand though.
Trappeur
I just wanted to put it out there-I just ordered Vanilla Bean Noel from WSP, only because Trappeur recommended it. I didn't need it, but I just felt like I had to buy a small bottle just because she "told" me to on this forum.

I make sure to use low sweat MP when I make embeds for my soaps (not often). Also letting a fan blow on them helps until you can completely wrap them.
Hi Shari,
I have trouble deciphering whether the MP I am buying is low sweat. Is there a good way to tell? I wasn't aware that wrapping MP helps reduce sweat. Thanks!

I added these cute little melt and pour embeds on my CP soap, but they just keep sweating. Ugh. I am trying to decide if it was something that I did or not. I used Stephenson Melt and Pour Ultra Clear soap base and I believe I didn't overheat the batch, but I am reevaluating everything. We are super humid hear in central IL, so could that just be what is going on? Will it stop? Is there another clear M&P that works better? I appreciate the help!

Thank you so much!

I am shopping around for wick stickers. Is there a brand/source that you like more than others? I use soy wax with ECO or CD wicks, if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance for the help!

did you ever try their cranberry marmalade? that's what I use. I blend it with a nice citrus orange to make cranberry orange. Fillmore has a lovely cranberry citrus if you prefer not to blend yourself.
I haven't tried their cranberry marmalade, but I will add it to my list. I've also haven't ordered from Fillmore, but I have seen quite a few posts about their products. Thanks!

I love cranberry scents! Some of my favorite cranberries are ICS Spiced Cranberry and NG Cranberry Cobbler, NG Cranberry Balsam and Peak Cranberry Apple Marmalade.
I really love cranberry scents too. Which company is ICS?
Cranberry cobbler! Sounds wonderful!

I am asking for recommendations on a nice, strong cranberry fragrance oil. It could be a blend or just straight cranberry. I have CS Cranberry Woods and I like it, but I am not in love with it anymore.

Thank you all so much for sharing your information! I will be sure to share a picture of my first attempt--however that may turn out : )
