Well, I know someone who is a Scentsy distributor and her friends and family email me on the sly and order my melts for their Scentsy warmer. Same thing as stated...their melts are WAY expensive and not as strong as mine. I don't have any issues with their site. It is a standard distributor based site just like Southern Living, Pampered Chef, etc. I will say some of their warmres are super cute, but they did have a pretty big recall lately.

Hmmmm...I need to check my caller ID because I got a call from a person with the type of accent you described. I did not pay attention to the number.
About three weeks ago I got a call from someone with such a thick Indian accent that I could not understand him. He was trying to sell me jars is what I took away from the little of the conversation I could make out. I finally just had to hang up because after telling him over and over again I could not understand him, he just kept getting louder and louder.

Well, be prepared. I would not be surprised if she finds out how frustrated you were with the situation. I did not look at her page source to see if she had a tracker on her site, but if she does, she has already seen the hits from this forum and more than likely followed them here and read the post.

JBN has a tropical coco that is just pure, plain ole coconut. I wish I could say how it does in soap, but alas, I have never soaped. Does great in soy, though.

BCS is only showing it as OOS.
Just By Nature has it on their site and lists it as a Thierry Mugler Type. JBN is a great supplier and I have a feeling it would be a good oil based on my experiences with them. I need to order some oils so I will get a sample. Right now they have it listed as $15 a pound so I am curious to see if they raise it. IMO, I would rather have the option to buy the oil I have been using at a price increase rather than having it simply discontinued. One of my wholesale accounts uses this one as their signature scent, so I need to find a good replacement.

Bert's Angel is not any where near the BCN one. I hate this! I sell a ton of it! I have about ten pounds of the oil in my cabinet so I will be okay for a while. Guess I need to start looking for a replacement.

I am sorry Late Night. It seems I have been caught doing a bit of profiling, huh? I just assumed all yellow bellies were sap suckers and dirt munchers; but alas, you have shown me the error of my way.
So how about this. If you are a yellow belly, I have no issue with you. Heck, even if you are a yellow belly and suck sap, I could live with that. Or, gosh, a dirt munching yellow belly would even be okay. It is just those yellow bellies who suck the sap AND munch the dirt at the same time...that just gets in my craw sommin fierce!
For the time being, just saunter your yellow belly up to my camp fire, we can hold hands and sing Kumbaya.

So yeah, anyone can find a bunch of complaints about scams if they are looking for it. Most people here shop at any one of these stores at any given time.
But have the above stores been repeatedly reported to their State's Attorney General's office for the same thing over and over? Are they involved in various consumer fraud lawsuits? If you look as most of those, the majority of the result returns are talking about scams people try to pull off involving the store (How to dress like a Wal Mart worker and steal from the store was my favorite.) Of course a search on "target scam" brings us a ton of info just by the nature of the key words, including pages which state that Vistaprint is the target of several consumer affair agencies for fraudulant scams. I have shopped at Target, Wal-Mart, Hobby Lobby and Michaels for YEARS and never once have I had a smelly charge show up on my credit card that could be traced back to doing business with them.
Even from vistaprint's own filing with the SEC you can tell they are having issues with these "bogus charges":
We derive a portion of our revenues from offers made to customers by third parties who have had their business practices challenged in the past, and if the business practices of these third parties are challenged in the future, our reputation could be adversely affected and we may lose revenue.For the three months ended September 30, 2007, we derived less than 10% of our revenues from order referral fees paid to us by third party merchants for customer click-throughs, order fulfillment and other forms of co-marketing arrangements. Some of these third party offers are for memberships in discount programs or similar promotions to customers who have purchased products from us and we receive a payment from the third party for every customer that accepts the promotion. How do the "scams" you listed above rank with the Better Business Buereau? Let's see... Vistaprint is number five on the Top 10 Complained About Businesses list of for the Eastern Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island and Vermont BBB.

Bottom line, their practices for these charges, while maybe not totally hidden (they may be, I have never done business with them) are unbelievaly deceptive. Do they offer great prodcuts? Maybe. But I am going to do business with those who also offer great products and who have not been brought into litigation because of deceptive business practices. I will do business with those businesses where I don't have to spend an extra 10 minutes reading every bit of fine print and having to quadruple check my bank statement.
And thank you much to those who brought it to people's attention.

I have always thought BCS sugar cookie could pass for a snickerdoodle. It works very well in soy, too.

Has anyone used both? If so, can you give me a comparison on scent throw, both hot and cold? Also, if you use the Accu 10, have you noticed many changes between batches.
I found a few posts on the Accu #10 but still have a a few questions. Oh, and one more... I remember reading that someone did not have any luck double wicking a 4in apoth. Has anyone had any luck doing so?

Well how bout that. Everyone I've talked to about the EZ UP tents said they work well. For both ease of setup, and in windy conditions.
Hey Jeff...how did your EZ UP look a couple of weeks ago when it was flying away carrying your weights with it?

Those pop up tents are heavier and usually don't need much to weigh them down.
Sorry, but not even close.
I have had to weather two shows in the past six months where the wind was about 20+ mph. I saw what OS would consider the pop up (heavier quality) tents at both shows with 30-50 pounds on each leg go sailing down the street. One show I did had mild gusts (15 tops) and a tent that had a cinder block tied to each leg flipped over and took out a neighbor's tent/merchandise in the process. In doing so, someone was in the tent at the time and was hit by flying items. Very dangerous.
The worst show I did had winds that topped 32. I was on grass, and like another poster said, I had the screw in stakes on each leg and then each one was strapped with ratchet straps through the stake and on the bars above. At that one show, my tents were not going up, but the tents were shaking so much I thought they were going to twist and collapse. I had a 10x20 spot and I also use two five gallon buckets which have filled all the way up with cement and embed one of the dog corkscrew stakes in it. I then ratchet strap from the bucket to the center of the tent. (I only do the 5 gallon buckets when the wind is realllly bad.)
When we are on asphalt, we do the pvc thing. My husband took the wide PVC (not sure of size) and capped an end (he used about two feet in length), filled it with cement and then again, another corkscrew stake set down in it. We use bungee cords and hook them around the top part of the tent frame and on to the stake in the PVC tube. I then tie them around the leg of the tent to keep them snug. They would be easy to cover...they are in line with the tent legs if that makes sense.
Bottom line, wind is freaky. Prepare for the worst because again, I have seen tents where people thought they were adequately weighted down fly away like something out of the Wizard of Oz. Dont trust straight stakes included with your tent and the EZ UP weights they sell that go with the tents are just not good enough.
The other thing I have found out is that your placement at a fair/show makes a lot of difference, but there is no way to predict that until the wind starts a-blowing. It is not anything you can control...just the way the wind is blowing, the way trees or buildings break the wind up, etc. Again, my motto is prepare for the worst. I just wish everyone at shows did the same because my tent could easily be taken out by someone who is clueless, or even more horrible, someone could be seriously injured.

I use soy and many that say stuff like "Fabulous in soy" and "SUPER STRONG in soy" just don't throw at all for me. I will say there are a few that work really well in my wax (Mojito, Buttermint, Caramel Cinnamon Latte), but I found most did not throw at all or well enough for me.

Yeah, the swim noodles helped prop my tent up and in case that did not work and the rains came, I could just float away on the noodles.
They really did help, though. The two corners that caught rain are the two that did not have the noodles. Still trying to figure out how my hubby got SIX out of "get me eight" when he called from wallyworld asking how many noodles I wanted. :rolleyes2 Yup, they snagged my last watermelon. Believe it or not, after you left there was a another pretty big run. I think it really slowed down about 8??? I kinda lost track of time, lol.

Hence the "yikes" at the end of my post. What is so funny is that when I asked her about the percentage of oil used she got the deer in the headlights look. She again said they are triple scented and so I said, "So they are higher than 1%, which really is the absolute max you should have people put on their skin." She said she was not sure what percentage but it was "safe." That is when I realized she did not know what she was talking about. I get so frustrated with people who not only make scary/false claims but when they don't know crap about their OWN product, it irks me to no end.Yeah, but in what concentraton? Generally the "normal" 1 oz. pp is a lot more than what's recommended for skin use, let alone if someone is "triple scenting," whatevertheheck THAT means...:rolleyes2 -
We had about 30 lbs on each leg and then we had the center section strapped down to a 5 gallon bucket full of cement using ratchet ties. There were a couple of gusts where I thought for sure the tents were going to twist and collapse.
