  1. I have used several in M&P and they all do great!

    Egyptian Rose Geranium~strong!

    Vanilla of Pearl

    Sunshine

    Fruit Slices

    Cotton Candy

    Jolly Rancher Green Apple

    Lemon Magnolia~awesome

I havent had any that werent great in soap but those come to mind first. HTH

  2. I only mix mine with a mixer and it seperated days later...i dont want others to use it if thats what happens. those who can avoid this issue what do you do? or does it just always do this....i made something that wasn't a thick butter so it was great---real creamy and light except for this issue. :sad2:

Just keep whipping it... I have to whip it for a really long time it seems. Total I probably whip it 30-40 minutes with slowly adding more and more oil. I have some I did a month ago and its not seperated at all.

  3. Biederman and Sons is carrying some now. A one piece electric with a decent size well that hold over an ounce of oil or a good size tart. Its a 15W and I get a good throw from it, I can put it in the middle of my house and smell it all over. Call 1-800-446-8150 and they will send you a catalog. Another place to check is Ganz. They only sell to businesses and a rep has to come to sell to you but they have them that use light bulbs and regular elctric ones also.

    HTH

  4. I did something like this when I was first starting out and overall consensus was that it did need additional preservative since you were adding to it but you can check with the company where the bases came from and see what they suggest.

  5. I think this is all in personal preference! I sell not only the tealight ones but also two styles of electric. One is like a jar warmer (with a heating element in the base) only instead of the flat plate it has the well for the oil or tart and the other has the base (about 4 1/4" tall) and a 40watt light bulb goes in there and then it has a dish that sits on the top. I sell the heck out of all three types.

    HTH

  6. one thing I read somewhere on here about the meatballer is that if you squeeze it together then tap it on the counter the ball falls out better... it helped me out! And you have to watch not to add to much to the meatballer or it doesnt stick together. That is what was hard for me to judge at first. HTH.... dont give up!!!

  7. The tins they used to have the demonstrator candles in are no more... now they are using the little plastic take out food containers and no wicks. Lots of demo-ers were a bit upset about that that I know because now they cant melt on a melter. I just sold my whole batch of them that I had. I stocked them when I could get my hands on them as they are perfect for taking when you travel... just enough to burn a night or two in a hotel and I have lots of customers that used them when they went out of town. My BIL and SIL kept them in their camper to use when they would go camping. I think they were about 1oz as I have 4oz tins and they are much smaller than that.

Epheme I found some candles here on the board with the same if not more scent throw... I am deffinitely bringing Terris line into my store... check her out!

  8. So far only the last few that I had to mist with alcohol are warty so maybe this batch will work out.... I had my daughter run to the cleaning supply store and get me 5# of citric so I can keep trying to get these things right!

These are still soft since they are only a few hours old.

  9. Well this I know for a fact.... Terri's Clean Cotton is a dead on match scent throw and all... I am using an 8oz tin on my warmer in my living/dining room and when I came in tonight from work I could smell it at the back door.... it rocks! Her Creme Brule ran me out of my office it was strong!! Customers today thought I was cooking in my back room! lol

She may not be as big as GCC but she can throw with the big boys! lol
