Those are fantastic! I love the colors and the layers- beautiful

Hi. I make the 8 oz masons with EZ soy and use HTP 126 and even occasionally the 1212 for some of the heavier FO's, so to answer your question, no you are not way off
-
How about these, starting with the fourth jar down
www.conniescandles.com/glassware.html
If these aren't it, maybe you could post a pic so we know what it is you are looking for.

I want those shelves, actually I NEED those shelves! Very nice. Looks like you have been busy

I really appreciate all of your opinions While this burn isn't bad, it's not as good as it could be so I will continue testing with different wick sizes and types and will give the double wicking a try. Again, thank you for all the help!
-
Good question, I have no idea where the pic went! I tried a web hosting site for the first time, so that is probably what happened. I'll attach the pic again. The opening of the jar is about 2-1/2 inches but the diameter is about 4 inches, so I didn't think double wicking would work with that small of an opening.

I know I am going against the grain here, but I think you need to wick up. Or wick down and double wick. I don't think that hang up will catch up, it is too far up the sides. It is still an OK burn, but if you want a clean jar you are gonna have done one or the other.
HTH...and JMO!
Dat
I have a sample of the monster HTP 1312 that I can try. I'd prefer to use one wick if I can. I appreciate your help

This was my first time wicking this jar, so I'm going to make another tester and see if I get lucky again.
-
Looks like you got a great burn there.
Care to share your wick size?
Good job
I did post it above, but I'll share it again - HTP 1212

That is really pretty

Everyone's websites are fantastic! Makes me want to get my act together and build one or better yet have someone do it for me! I agree with Michi on how unique each and every site is

I keep threatening to come up that way to visit, but you wouldn't have any candles left when I headed home! I want them all! (Well, maybe I could leave Nessie with you..)
You really wouldn't want to give ol' Nessie a good home? Man, that was one fugly candle!
-
That really turned out neat!
-
Which wax are you using for those? They sure look cool!
I use IGI 1343 and thanks

Ok, how do I get these pics to show up automatically without having to click on the link?

That's wonderful! You're going to be busy

Okay I still want to know what those things are in there? Wicks? Take a picture from the top! lol Thats buggin me! Is is soot? I can't be the only one seeing those two rope/wick looking things in there! can i? lol
Ash
They look more like soot "streaks" than wicks to me. It definitely looks awful.

Congrats!

That is an amazing hurricane- absolutely beautiful
-
Those look cool. Is that a wick sticking out or just glare from the light?
That looks like the tip of the silicone bulb as those are electric candles and have no wicks!
Hey Groovy Chic, I like your electric grubbies- neat colors. My daughters would love those
Fugly but smells great
