Donita, I understand that's not the look you were trying to achieve, but they are pretty candles. Although you may not like them, there's somone out there ( ) who will! Better luck on your next try.
PS the little guy jumping up and down is me!

Congrats on a great mottle!!

I agree with everyone else, you don't have too many sunflowers- she is really cute!
-
I like those- especially in the dark bottle.

Great idea and it looks wonderful- amazing colors!

WOW-those are beautiful Donita!!! I especially love the blues but the yellow looks great too.

Great looking rustic in a very pretty color. I just made a couple of pinks myself!

I don't hate anything about candlemaking, only I do find testing wick after wick gets a little tiresome and that I never seem to have enough time to make all the things I want!
-
I like the finish too, very interesting:smiley2:

I use the Smooth-On silicone that I get from Misterart.com- it's super easy! You shouldn't be jealous, you have the most beautiful candles!!

Shannon, "will you marry me"? If not, can I drop over some afternoon and get some lessons on how to make those FANTASTIC candles of yours. They are drivin me crazy they're so gorgeous. I watch a TV show that's called "HOW'D THEY DO THAT" I've finally got around the corner making rustics (almost) and then you come along and blow me away with yours. PLEASE keep posting they're great. By the way, I see you are into archery, I held the Ontario championship 2 years in a row (40 years ago)
LOL! Thanks, Tucker, but one man is enough for me:grin2: My rustics are okay but nothing compared to the Queens of Rustic on here, Scented and Eugenia to name a couple. There are a lot of talented candlemakers on this board! I've been concentrating on containers candles and when I got this order and made the first 5, I had to remelt all of them:tongue2: Keep practicing! Congrats on your archery championship! I won a 1st place trophy at target league a few years ago (only because there were 2 of us in the class and the other gal didn't show up most of the time, but don't tell anyone!).
Thanks everyone for the nice words. The first one is my favorite! I really enjoy making these:smiley2:

Rustic Escentuals has them. I make my own though- much cheaper!
Yaley and Genwax also carry wax chunks.

Everything looks great, especially the pies! Don't know that I'd want one of your facials though!
