We moved house and where we moved to we could not get into markets as the already had a candle person, you know the story, despite that fact that what we did was very different.
We have now moved interstate and so far so good, seem to be well received, so we will see how it goes over the next few months.
Well i hope you have a good luck, for me I quit the candle and soap on 2015 I was getting tired of everything. And last year after almost 59 years of meryt life my husband passed, now I am trying to keep busy and make some candles

It's been 6 years since I have poured candles, and my first post in a long while. Lots has happened to me and my family in that time. I am not going in to it, After looking at my workspace where I do my crafts and candles, I decided it was time to start again. not to sale, for me and the family will take pictures tomorrow and post them and who knows maybe I can make some soap to. Anyway I hope all the people I knew are still here 🙂

I was able to use preneutralized and gel it by mixing it with glycerin, to prevent fisheyes and clumping, adding some di water then 70 percent.
It was okay.Carbomer is not the best for this.
This is better Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer
There are other emulsifier types you can make aquaholics.
You do not want 91 alc. it dries too fast. Sanitizing is recommended 70 percent because it dries slower, kills more.
Remember Lab Rat?
Where can you get it Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer

I try to remember to tell customers who buy 3-12 bars at a time to store them in a cool, dry place away from direct light sources since they are obviously stocking up.
Two of my favorite customer stories...sweet little old lady comes up to buy a bar of soap. I hand her the bag and give a friendly reminder to make sure the bar is well-drained between uses and not left sitting in a puddle. Her response, "Oh I'm not going to use it in the bath. It's for my underwear drawer." LOL Then I once had a cute little boy come up to my booth and marvel at the candles. "How do you get them to smell so good? Do you, like, squeeze pine needles or something?" I stifled a grin and politely explained how we scent candles.
I get those all the time , But I think this lady was looking for another brand new candle for her self
or another person

I apologize for been late, I replace the candle and ask her to send hers back and this is what she said when she was putting the jar in the box to return it fell and broke so a said enjoy the new one you got and that was it

Are those from a relatively new case of C3?
Many of us have had to change our wicking with newer soy for similar reasons.

It could be due to any number of variables. C3 has become challenging to wick for good HT.
What wicks and size?
what type of container?
what size container?
is she burning them in a place where the cold air returns suck the scented air out of the Room?
She said the candles smell so good in the kitchen & bedroom that's why she left them uncover this is same jar it's 2.3/4 wide CDN 10 for Lilac CDN 12 for Cinnamon sticks now I have been making candles from 2007 and this is a first for me

I need some help please, I have a customer that purchaser a couple candles about 2 months ego she said that she left the candles uncover for almost a month and half and when she burn them they had no smell, The fragrance was Lilac from CS Lilac & Cinnamon buns
from NG I use C3 & i do know that both off those scents do throw very good. and a good seller Is it passable because she left them open the scent to evaporate

Moonstar V.E means Vitamin E is nature's antioxidant. Vitamin E is often used as a preservative

OCTOBER 2016 Soap of the Month
Cold Processed
Lemongrass & Eucalyptus Activated Charcoal
With 40% Shea Butter
Equipment needed:
A good working digital scale
Large enough container to hold a 48 ounces oil batch of soap
Stick blender
1 container for lye one-container for water
Paper towels Thermometer
Rubber Spatulas
Set of measuring spoons
2 small containers for extra oils
1 small container for the Essential oils,
Freezer paper if needed to line your mold,
Soap Mold for 48 oz of oils
And rubber gloves
PLEASE ALWAYS RUN YOUR RECIPE THROUGH A LYE CALCULATOR
This is a 33% lye concentration with a 5% Super fat
My recipe
INGREDIENTS:
Oils for 48 oz
40 % Shea Butter (544.31 Gr)
30 % Olive oil (408.23 Gr)
15% Coconut oil (204.12 gr)
10% Palm oil flakes (136.08 Gr)
5% Castor oil (68.4Gr)
Water oz 15.84 Aloe Vera Juice (449.06 Grams)
Lye oz 6.53 (185.13 Grams)
ADDITIVES:
V.E. 0.70
3 tsp of Activated Charcoal
Essential oils
1 oz Lemongrass
1 oz Eucalyptus
Super fat @ 5%
Lye Concentration: 33%
Next, weigh your lye oz. distilled water {I am using Aloe Vera Juice} ALWAYS combine the lye into the water and stir with your stick until the mixture is clear. Set aside to cool.
Weigh your oils into your bowl and melt them down
Weigh the Essential oils V.E and activated charcoal and mix them all thoroughly blend
I always soap @ a room temperature When everything is ready I start
Slowly pour the lye into the oil mixture, stick blend ONLY until you see a light trace. As long as the mixture is fully emulsified and it reaches a light trace, you add the mixture of your essential oils the V.E and Activated charcoal
Once everything is mixed thoroughly stick blend until you are ready. To start pour in to your mold you tap the soap on the counter for the bubbles to rise and pop.
I don’t insulate my soap I just cover it with a towel for 24 to 30 hrs... And then I unmold and cut and let it sit for 4 to 6 weeks
