Your colors are so soft....reminds me of cotton candy. VERY nice!

If I were you I'd have a sore shoulder from patting myself on the back. Great first
-
Diggin those colors Carrie!
-
LOL~I thought you said drinking too. Nice work Julie girl.

I use a 36z with 4794 unless I use a real heavy fo and then move up to a 44z. I've tried LX but the zinc do better IMO. HTH

First of all 1343 is not made for containers, it is a pillar & votive wax so don't waste your time on that. As far as wax made for container, I use J50...love it, and have learned to LOVE my wet spots because in my opinion you can't get a better throw (with LX wicks) or color. HTH

OHHHHHH those are niiiiice!

What is it with everyone getting these kick butt, even mottles. Geez, you and E are making me green with envy. Nice job Trish!

I have mandarin color block and add some brown to it. It turns out pretty close to that. HTH

27 flat is where I start with all my 3" unless I use Patchouli, Lavender or Spiced Cranberry, then I take it up to a 30 flat. I do use a 24 flat if I want a shell to remain. HTH

The flash point on the FO is if it were heated on its own...once you put it in wax your worries are over unless you heat the wax too high. I would keep the wax under 190 at all times. I also use 4794 and do my first pour at around 170 and the second pour around 175-180. HTH

Very nice job.

Girl you just amaze me. I don't think I've ever seen a prettier set of candles.

Nice marble! The colors are so soft & subtle.

You go girl~

Sheesh, your talent with soap is amazing.

I'd like to say that that happened to me ONCE, but I think I've done that 2 or 3 times over the last 2 yrs
Actually, I quit using the spigot and wish I had never had it put on there!

That sure is some pretty soap Kimberly!

I poured the last batch at about 190 (per candle co instructions), I poured the batch yesterday much cooler and got the same effect I did today. I have about 1oz pp of FO, but no additives. Could I have too much FO?
We must have posted at the same time...I didn't see this reply...I don't think you are using too much fo at all. Try the stearic and make sure you cool it slow. HTH
-
I would try the stearic at 2-3 tbl. pp, pour around 180 deg. and cool real slowwww. I normally use 1 oz. pp of FO and get great mottles using that combo. HTH
-
No problem I did try another batch and used about .25oz per # and it was fine. I guess with this FO you have to use less. Atleast I got me some soap
Yeaaaaa Post pictures~~

I love Peak's Red Clove, and it's strong strong strong. Throws great in 4794 & J50 at 1oz. pp. Even 1/2 oz would do just fine.
Yeaaa Hawww! ~~Updated w/ cut pics
