  1. I just tested a couple FO's from there: "Mulberries and Moonbeams" "Peony White Tea" Both were awesome! Tony
  2. www.thecandlemakersstore.com I get most all my containers from them. I'm fortunate to work 40 minutes from their location, so I always pick up my orders. Great: Customer service So-so: Fragrance oils. I've found a couple that I like and buy from them. I've tried many that I didn't care for, but that's what the 1 oz. trials are for. I'm sure they have many more FO that I would like, but I have sources for most everything I need. Tony
  3. Well, this probably doesn't help much. I'm a CandleWealth distributor. Just got in their Love Spell yesterday and made up some votives, tarts and a sniffer-sampler (1.5 oz jar). So far, very impressed with the quality and authenticity of the fragrance. My wife has some Love Spell body spray. Couldn't tell the difference between the two. I'll report back when I burn a candle. 4. I add at 120. I would think you could lose some FO if you add at higher temps. I figure, if you can smell it, then you're releasing it. But, how much is actually lost during the cool-down, who knows. I suppose it could be scientifically calculated by weight change during cool down. Tony
  5. "Mulberries and Moonbeams". "Peony white tea". Both were awesome, great cold and hot throw in Soy. Tony
  6. I guess the real question then (especially for the person doing his/her own taxes) would be which method would provide the most benefit in tax savings? I guess if you are good at keeping track of your inventory and cost of finished goods and having this information easily accessible, then using the accrual method would be the most accurate. If you have a good list of what went out vs. what came in, then cash method is good. For kicks, I'm going to run the number both ways. Luckily, I started my biz late in the year (October), so I don't have many records to figure in. I actually managed to not lose any receipts and have records for all my expenses. Tony
  7. Unfortunately, NVSoy is a proprietary blend available only to or through Candlewealth distributors. So, finding a comparable wax will be a trial and error process on your part. I am also a Candlewealth distributor. I've only tried one other wax and found it to burn quicker and not have as good a throw. I tried another wax when I ran out, not because I was looking for a replacement. To be fair, this other wax was 100% Soy. The CW wax is not 100% soy, but contains other veg components to improve performance and finish. If you want to know the other wax I tried, you can PM me. Don't want to start a wax war here. 8. How did you "cure" the candle? Did you let it cool SLOWWWLY, or did you force it to cool quickly? Tony
  9. I've had a request for a blueberry pie fragrance. Any recommendations? I'm considering just getting Blueberry cobbler, since I imagine that actual pie and cobbler smell almost the same... Dang, this is making me hungry.... One I'm considering is Blueberry Cobbler from NG. FYI, I use Soy, in case it matters. Thanks! Tony Vissoc
