Thank you so much for the link ... they have every type of pillar, votive, ball, etc.... but no cone!
I have kept this in my favorites though... Thank you!

Well I'm trying to learn with round and square molds first. I just finished pouring my first 3 x 4½" square mold.
We bought 12 different types of molds last week, and we kind of liked the cone. I doubt I'll be ready to try that one for awhile yet though..

This one is for newbies like me!!!
Put plenty of mold sealant on the bottom of your molds..... other wise you get nice hot coloured wax all over your counter top..
I just read this........ Of course I didn't do this...
Uh hmmmmmmm....

I realize this is a difficult question to answer because of the shape, but can someone give me a hint as to which wick to start testing with?? Please???
Do I go with the center of the cone to use as diameter??:undecided In other words would I start with a wick good for a 2" pillar?

Hi!
I need some advice please. I have just started making candles, so I obviously need to learn alot more. I am using Soy Wax.
I would like to know what wic to use in a 2½" x 5½" cone. I'll be using the EcoSoya Pillar wax!
Thanks in advance!

I purchased some Self Centering Votive wicks especially for Soy wax from Village & Craft. I made some votives using:
1 - Village & Craft Votive Soy Wax: with Monkey Farts FO - no colour.
and
2 - Canwax Eco soy PB Pillar: no FO's but with lavender colour.
My problem is that the votives burn about an 1" out. The melt pool doesn't reach the sides properly..
Has anyone else tried these wicks? Or is it the wax??
Am I better to use HTP wicks???
Help pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![:shocked2:](//content.invisioncic.com/r248437/emoticons/default_shocked2.gif)
