  1. Has anyone bought their clamshells for tarts from them. Their price seems to be so much cheaper than anyone else. Also any recommended scents I should try while I am at it. I just ordered a bunch of clamshells from another company & they were a whole lot more. Thanks in advance.

  2. I just ordered Mistletoe, Christmas Wish, Frost Bite, Holiday Eggnog, Home for the Holidays, Jeweled Holiday Cake, Hot Buttered Rum, Sleigh Bell & Chestnuts & Brown Sugar(that one I love). Are the other scents good in paraffin one pour?
  3. I found votive holders with snowmen all the way around it. It is darling. I made Christmas Splendor & Spiced Wassail scented votives. I would have to buy wholesale the holders for probably $5.00 & I got these for $1.05. Honk's in our area is no longer just $1.00. That sucks but those are so cute. Couldn't find them at any of the other dollar stores. I sell them for $5.00 & they are selling like crazy. I am going to give these to all the neighbors for Christmas.

  4. Last night I had to set up for a craft fair that goes 8 days. Tomorrow I am doing a home show. It is probably going to be at least a thousand dollar party. One of the ladies going called & gave me a heads up she wants a dozen 26 oz candles. I worked a full day & poured 24, 26 oz candles tonight. Spicey Gumdrops, Apple Cider, Baked Apple, & Christmas Splendor. If I get a chance to poured more in the morning I will.

  5. I have a store & use to purchase candles from a company out of Canada & they would not send ship candles out in the hot summer months. You had to schedule around the super hot temperatures. I don't order from them anymore because we manufacture our own now. I do order from some other companies just to give my customers a selection of different companies. But I usually order in the cooler months & also ship in the cooler months.;)

  6. I use to use different things all very cute but mostly I use the little clear plastic plates they use for reception plates or weddings for the refreshments. They are about 4 or 6 inches & they are light weight for shipping or just for packaging plus they look nice. Seems to work good & my customers like it. I think they are about $10.00 for 50 at Sam's Club.:highfive:

  7. I have had 500 lbs this wax for at least a couple years & I am thinking I should make some candles with it. I have been making candles with the BP Global & before that Dusseck waxes for about 5 years. Is this wax any good. I know you melt it to 175, add dye, stir well, cool to 120 & add fragrance, stir well, cool to 100 & at slushy stage pour. My wicks I use in my candles are 62-52-18 zinc. I do have a few samples I can try also. Any other suggestions.:cheesy2:

  8. I use the same wax I just made a batch of candles & pour them into the molds to make the tarts. That way I don't waste any wax & I have the matching tarts to go with the candles. It can smudge the wrap if it gets warm but not that big of deal. My customers still like them, so it works all the way around.
