I wont name the company because I dont know if I can on here, but I had a popular merchant account and I canceled them two months ago to go with someone else. In the contract it stated that I could cancel anytime no fees would incur. Well they just took out $350 from my checking account for a cancelation fee. After hours on the phone arguing with them about this I finally had to fax my contract over so they could see that it stated I could cancel at any time. Then they have the nerve to tell me they cannot process a refund until I sent them a bank statement showing the $350 charge and then it will take 1 to 2 months to get my money back! I dont understand how they can charge me then say I have to wait two months and show my bank statements to them to get my money back!

Thanks Robin I will stay on them! I have a show next weekend and have to be able to accept credit cards.

Has anyone had any problems setting up an account with Propay? I have been back and forth with them for 2 weeks now. They wont set up my account because I sent them a business check and it doesnt have my personal name on it. Then I had to send them additional information by fax and they claim they never got it and this have been going on for a week. Just wondering if I am the only one or if anyone else had problems. hahha I see what you mean with yellow!!! Yeah I dont mind it tinting the water a little, but it left a terrible ring all around the tub from the water mark down to the bottom of the tub. I had to take a towel and clorox to get it off!

Can anyone help me on why my colored bath bombs turns the tub the color of the dye? I have made different batches and varied the color I use each time but it never helps. I bought powdered color from MMS and each color I bought specified that it will not turn the bath water the color of dye. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I was wondering if anyone can help me. I am wanting to start a website using godaddy.com as the host. I see they have good prices on hosting packages. If I buy one of their hosting packages I dont think it includes a shopping cart. So will I need to buy an additional package on top of that? I have tried calling them and three different people said three different things. I am really confused now! Also for those of you who use godaddy.com who do you use as a merchant account? I see they have an option to buy on their site but it is way too expensive. I asked them if they are compatible with other merchant companies and no one would give me a direct answer. Thanks for any help you can give!!

My current merchant account that I use for my website is about to make me bankrupt with all their crazy fees! It seems like each month they add on new fees. They charge a monthly fee, fees if I dont sell a certain amount each month, etc. I have to change them to someone else. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks!!

I order big quantities through them and have had good experiences. I even go to the local warehouse where I live and pick them up and it saves me on shipping. Sometimes though I have noticed that they are out of jars fast. That would be the only downfall. I think it takes about 30 days to get new ones in. But overall i really like them.

Can someone point me in the right direction to where I can buy this? Or are you able to get this at any store in your hometown? Thanks!

Hello, I have been making candles for quite a while and I am thinking about getting into a few bath-beauty products. Does anyone recommend a certain supplier or certain place that has starter packages? I am thinking about doing bath bombs, lip gloss, air freshener and possibbly lotions. I am using 1239 wax trying to wick 3" pillars. I have tried so many wicks and I am not having any luck at all. They burn fine for about 2 to 3 hours then they always start going over one side. What wicks do you all use and have you had this problem? Thanks so much! Marie

I am using J223, i used 1 oz per pound, with a 60 zinc wick

I am testing a new scent out Ocean Mist. I am testing in a 16 oz apothecary jar and burnt it last night for a few hours and it was fine. I lit it today and about 1 hr 30 min. later the wick went out. I tried to relite it and it would not lite. The i noticed the melt pool never harded almost like it is water and it just sitting in the candle. I am completely puzzled over this. Does anyone no why this would happen? Thanks!!

I also used to use these jars and used the 44-34 zinc wic. I quit using them because they constantly broke on me and my customers. It was when they would take off or put the lid on. I did get them from the jar store and talked to them about it and they said that there was a problem with the rim of the lid not fitting correctly with these and that they were trying to correct it. I just got so many complaints from my customers in which the jar broke that I quit them altogether. I do wish you the best of luck though...they are good looking jars!

I was wondering if anyone has done a big order from the jar store. I placed an order with them before and was pleased but the problem was since it was a big order I had to have it delivered to a business. They said they couldnt deliver to a residence that much. I had a friend at the time who let me deliver to their store, but they have since closed down. So anyway I want to order from them again and I dont have a business. They told me i could just wait in the parking lot of a business the day it is to be shipped and I would just meet the guy there. Sounds kind of weird...just wondering if anyone else has run into this.

I have a business license and I charge sales tax on all my items. My question is when do I turn this into the government. I thought they were to send me something stating this but I never received anything. How do I know if I should pay quartly or annually? Any thoughts? Thanks!

I have heard of them also. But I am looking for a merchant account to use with my shopping cart on my website automatically so I dont have to call anything in. I dont know if I am saying that right...this is all so confusing to me!hahah
