Hello, Just to clarify for you all. The owner of the wood wick patents is a company called Lumetique, Inc. You can view their patents on the website: www.lumetique.com. The good news is that www.woodcandlewick.com is a newly licensed distributor of their wooden wicks, so Lumetique's product is now readily available in the marketplace.The license fee is built into the cost of the wick and each wooden wick purchase comes with a patent-protected license.
