  2. I am starting out again with the candles after a break for several years. I used the J-50 back then, and still have a case left... It really has a great scent throw, and I actually wasn't sure which one pour I would use since I saw the Comfort and Harmony blends, and read how well others liked them... I think I will stay with the J-50, and see how that does for us. Thanks for compiling the information and taking time to share the results.. It certainly provided valuable details about these brands and their overall performance. Thank You.... I whole heartdly agree about the Soy Wax results also.. we could really use more info in that area....
  3. Thanks Lindsay... I checked out that recipe and it did say it might marshmello if it set up before it was all mixed in... Can you give me some feed back on what is in your recipe and how quick you mix your batch up.. Do you allow it to stand a while and then it expands??? I am also wondering why they are using the polysorbate in the recipe... is it really greasy??? My batch turned out pretty wimpy last night.. I poured mine into just the cupcake wraps, and they went no where.... no expansion.. I used the recipe from PV Soap.... Thanks for your help...
  4. I saw a great bubble bar type molded into a muffin on the internet... Does anyone know where you can possibly get a top muffin mold that looks like this.. Does any one know where to get this kind of a mold, and how are you molding your bubble bars???? Any luck. Thansk for your help.. Cami

  6. I've been looking at this press for a while, trying to decide if $ 360.00 is worth it... Has anyone else bought this press??? By the time you add another mold its over 400.00..... OUCH... If you've bought it, can you tell me if it is easy to use.... I'm trying to find something easy with NO MORE HEADACHES.... Thanks Cami
  7. As a past candle & gift store owner, I think you've done a great job with your displays, packaging, and candle boxes... Marketing has ALOT to do with your sales and presentation.. You've obviously spent alot of time on your decorations. I hope you are very successful in your efforts. Great Job.... Be Proud... You've worked hard and deserve it! Cami
  8. OK... I'm working on a facial scrub for a spa, and in need of some input.... I started out just blending some brown sugar, honey, and glycerine. It is a nice scrub, however, after a few hours the top turns into a milky white cream. The sugar descends to the bottom of the container. I added the glycerine to make it less thick so I can actually apply it without it being too dry... Does anyone know why I am getting this cream on top??? Does anyone have any experience making a facial scrub with honey and has been successful with this product??? I am in serious need of assistance with this one.. I have no idea what kind of a reaction I am gettting.. But I've had this happen to me in the past with honey and oats blends as well... Any help would be much appreciated.. Thanks Cami
  9. Hello Everyone, I've been working on sugar scrub recipes for the last several months. I've researched the internet, and found most scrub recipes that are very oily. I came upon your site today, and hoping someone can help.. I have not had much luck in finding an non oily based sugar scrub. Everything I have tried has been too oily for one of our clients. If you have a emulsified recipe you would be willing to share, please do... I could use the help.. Thanks Cami
