I dont use dye. I have used esosoya 135 before and now i'm using Igi 4627. I swiched ecosoya to 4627 because that fuel smell and weak ht. Fuel smell didnt go away, but ht is much better and stronger now. Could wrong size wick cause fuel smell?

Yes. Im the same person . I thought that first too, but my testers smells that too. I think I do something wrong. But what?

Hello from Finland! Im new in candle making and so grateful that I found this wonderful server. I working and testing with 4627, CS fragrance oils and LX wicks. I use glass containers (dia 3" and height 3,5"). I have problems in HT. HT is quite strong, but I can smell fuel in it. I have tested 4 different fo's and fuel smell is always there. What cause this? Can anyone help me?

Thank you for your message. Interesting, I have also problems with my thyroid. I have hypotyroidism, but sometimes hypertyroidism too. I have had problems to find right dosage for Thyroxin. I didn't know that sick thyroid have something to do with sensible to fragrances. Have to study this more. Thanks again for this information! I wish you all the best.

Hello everyone! I'm just starting my own candle business here in Finland. I love making candles, especially fragrance candles. My only worry is that I'm sensitive to fragrance oils. I start to feel dizzy and weak when I add fragrance oil to wax. Sometimes I get headache too. This weak and dizzy feeling last many hours . Have somebody same kind of problems with fragrance oils? Is there anything I can do to make this go away? I use mask and good air conditioner, but still I get symptoms. This was big surprise for me. I have used scented candles in my home without any problems earlier. Very thankful for your help .
