After I made the candle I sat down to write out my notecard, that's when I realized I didn't know what % it would be, so I guestimated around 10-12% but was trying to figure out what the FO load was because the scent throw is amazing

Well I came up with a range that basically includes both of the numbers that you guys came up with LOL

I didn't even take this into account when I used their formula. Once I sat down to write out my index card I was like "oh crap" so I put 10-12% FO load, bcuz I wasn't quite sure, but I figured it was in that range... Now that I'm actually burning the candle I would like to have a better idea of what % it is for testing purposes...

Gm all!!!.... Ok so I read somewhere a ratio for an 8oz candle they used 7oz of wax to one oz of FO, which gave them the 8oz needed for the 8oz candle... So I decided to try this combo bcuz I only wanted to make one candle... I used 7oz of 4627 wax, 8oz straight sided jelly jar, no dye, 51-32-18 zinc wick and 0.9 oz of Blueberry muffin FO... Made it last week, let it cure for a few days. Started burning it... The throw is amazing!!!! As of right now this is my 3rd burn... I basically been power burning it... My question is what FO percentage load would this be considered? I'm totally stumped on this bcuz I only used 7oz of wax.... TIA

I would think that if they had to ship from two different locations it would still be only one shipping cost but not the case with them, they give two diff shipping prices. I know when I order things for the house from wallyworld & it ships from seperate locations it's still only one shipping price. I almost choked the other day when I seen CS seperate shipping prices...

The sparkle dust can you use that in the candle wax? Or just on top? I wanted to try some out for the pink sugar FO

Yes samething for me sighs. I'm in NY & they were trying to charge two diff shipping prices! The order was split up, half from one location & the other half from the other location... I love their tins!! But I have to figure out a better option...

LOL thank you guys so much!!! I'm still laughing at myself! Didn't even know that it was a difference in BO vs FO, and that was the last thing that I would've thought was the culprit, I figured maybe I was adding too much oil, or maybe I wasn't stirring enough, or maybe it was the pouring temp... never thought about the type of oil it was... ok back to the drawing board I go... gonna try some zinc & CD wicks also & I'll keep you guys posted

OOOOKKKK yes!!!!! it was a black currant vanilla... so maybe the vanilla in it is making it pool to the bottom... You guys are so fantastic!!!!! the scent smells soooo good, but I couldnt figure out what the pooling was coming from, so maybe the vanilla in it is what"s making it pool.
