yep, like I said took almost 4 hrs for them to reach the edge on the cd 10, and even after 6.5hrs, it only had 1/4 inch sent pool. The eco 6 had 1/2 in pool 6.5 hrs in and took around 3 hrs to reach the sides. about right, but I'm going to try one step up on the eco. The cd 10, the wax discolored slightly
I tried the eco 6 and cd 10 in 464 with the 8oz jelly jar. Both had good sent throw, though after 6.5 hrs the eco6 had a sent pool 1/2 inch the cd 10 was at 1/4. It took both about 3 hrs to reach the sides of the glass on initial burn. Any suggestions or insight?
Well I also do soy with 464 for the people that want a soy candle, but just like the look and performance of the blends, the jar is a 8oz jelly that's 2& 3/4. c/s recommends a eco10,
well I have some test kits coming for cd, lx, and eco, for the different types I'm making, so we will try and go from there. I know candle science recommended a lx-16 for the 6006, or an eco2, that seems tiny.
I've used 4630 harmony blend at 20% with 464, seemed to eliminate the frosting and give me an over all better looking candle. Haven't really tested sent throw yet hot. I suppose it doesn't matter once you put any paraffin in, it's no longer an "all natural" soy candle. So you are essentially making your own joy wax, with better quality results it seems lol
