Irena, Do you mean the oval portion cups for the wax melts or do you mean the oval lip balm containers?
Yes, the oval portion cups.

Little kids put play doh in their mouths. I would not use fragrance oil in them because of that. You could however use a small amount of a flavor oil or even a skin safe, ingestable EO such as spearmint, lemon, lime, orange...etc
Good point.

Looks good! Where do you get those little oval containers?

It depends on the ingredients and how much fragrance you use.

SoapHutch molds. I have 5 of them. No lining needed.

I do 7-8% superfat as anything lower my skin finds drying.

Great job!

Most people on this forum are hobbyists or small time crafters. They do not have the testing apparatus, equipment or a lab, where a product could be properly formulated or tested. Even big companies like Dr. H aushka mess up big time. I am a Licensed Esthetician. I have worked with this product and you know what? I opened a jar once of his and it had mold in it. I reported it, but I don't think anything ever came of it. So if it's a product just for yourself, feel free to experiment. If it's a product for sale, it should be tested and properly made under the most sanitary conditions possible.

Not all alcohols are created equal.
And just because someone said they used "an alcohol" successfully is not enough for me to endorse it for my own business without adequate lab testing of the ENTIRE formulation and methodology for efficacy.
Absolutely!

Thank you Inez. I read somewhere that it had to be 20% alcohol.
