  1. I ordered a Econo Mold and Beveler from Paul. Mailed a check and order Dec. 6, 2007, it didn't get cashed till Dec. 21, 2007!! He called DH's cell phone, because he couldn't get thru my emails? (didn't have problems before) or find a address to send my mold & beveler to?? (This was after Christmas!) I received my mold & beveler on this past Monday, 1-07-08. I love the workmanship! Can't wait to try it out! BUUUUTTT I didn't find the liner in the mold!!

I wrote to him Monday night about this, but hadn't heard anything back. I PM'd him this morning.

Now I can understand him being extremely busy for Christmas, and I can understand about being down for tornado damage. But I had no idea till I came here!!

I will use freezer paper till I get my liners :rolleyes2 . I wish him all the best and hope all will be o.k. for him! I'm just a little disappointed with this transaction. :tiptoe:

  2. I followed the whole process and can't wait to get to all my tools for this! I'm still waiting on my TOG Mold to be delivered :sad2: . I'll still have to dig in the shop for my other tools, but can't wait to try this method!!

Thank You AJ for teaching this class. I would have never thought of doing this before now! I also like the idea of being able to use the soap sooner too, but not crazy about having to taste test it. :spit:

You all that did this, looks like ya'll did a great job!!

  3. :shocked2: But my husband did tell me I needed a hobby, so I guess I can blame it all on him.

Yep, that's how it started for me with candles!! :tongue2:

Congrats on your first try!! and with milk no less!! :shocked2: I haven't tried it yet...but I feel it pulling me that way soon...LOL

  4. OMG!! I never liked dolls when I was a kid (I was too tomboy.) I dont' remember playing with dolls, but I WANT THE BLONDE DOLL!! :shocked2:

I would imagine that these dolls must cost a mint! I love the quality of these dolls!! It's a shame you don't make them anymore! I'm sure you'd need 24 hrs more in a day to juggle all you do??

I would have Loved them just the way they were!!

Sorry for rambling, I just really love those!! :o

  5. Go to the top of the first page. Look under Tutorials, for the sub folder of Classroom...it's in there. Grumpy did an awesome job of teaching this one! Can't wait till I dig out my soap supplies or get off my ...and get some supplies!!

Can't wait to try this!! I really need some colorants to do half of what some of the gals came up with. They all did an awesome job!! :yay:

  6. JMO, but it wouldn't hurt to put that on the label. I know that it's illegal in Vermont (drove there with mine, and brother removed it so I wouldn't get stopped).

You should at least say something about making sure it doesn't block the view of the driver. HTH

  7. I'm going out on a limb here, but I think you would do

    9x12.5x2.5x.4=112.5 oz ?? (going by E's tut.)

Love this class!! All my stuff is still packed!! I may just have to go find some stuff and make it from scatch!! :wink2:

    Thanks for the class Grumpy!!

    Those look GREAT Tychels!!

  8. I usually package mine with shrink wrap bags, but don't shrink them. Tie with ribbon and hang tag. I have all the don'ts on one side.

I don't use them as "gag gifts" (no pun intended). I have had a great response with these! They are just a bathroom air freshener. They shouldn't gather anymore dust then the dipped bears. I have some pretties in my bathroom that I have to dust or clean on a weekly basis, so dusting one more thing is no big deal. I know alot of people that have decorative soaps or silk flowers in their bathrooms, and they have to be dusted on a regular basis as well.

As long as they sell for me, I will continue to make them. :P
