  1. I have done some very small scale private labeling. I put a code on the warning label of the candles, so that I know they are mine if there is ever any problems. I haven't had any problems to date. Currently I do the customer's labels, but I wanted to be covered in case in the future they wanted to have their own printed.

  2. I just use an Excel spreadsheet that list, date, name (or show), amount of $$, wholesale or retail, tax percentage, and a column for notes. I do a folder for each year. If you have a lot of sales you could even do a separate sheet for each month. I do basically the same thing for my expenses.

  3. For me it depends on the weather. In the winter I put the pouring pot out in our unheated garage on the concrete floor. It cools down very quickly and my house doesn't smell really strong of candles. Sometimes I am making several scents that don't always mix well in the air. The most I get out there is usually 3 pots with another batch of wax melting, before the first is ready to be poured.
